I didn’t realize that the Everlys had been to the UK as early as 1957. Wow!! I tend to think of dates in terms of the Beatles so going with that train of thought, Paul and John hadn’t even met until July 6, 1957. I think I know how the Everlys felt about the UK. My first trip there was 1971 and I adored it. I since made about 45 subsequent trips there including living in London for a while in 1977. I always feel very at home there. Particular in the mid-70s and 80s, sometimes I almost felt like a commuter between NYC and London!! I love all the history there, the beautiful scenery when you get out of the cities, and I’ve always found the people to be very welcoming. I sense a great vibe when I’m there. Really enjoyed this video.

Ok now I know Phil Everly is the the brother with the brown hair while his brother Don Everly is the brother with the blondish brown hair or is it just blonde hair only 🤔Those were the best of timescale wrapped up in a time capsule from those awesome remarkable memorable the one & only good times gone forever just to be reminded of those good old days sure wakes up.my good old sensitive soul of jow I miss those childhood and youthful says of mine from so long ago when people & life was alot simpler wholesome & while music was more emotional melodic crystal clear , pure& sweet sounding instead of what music is played nowadays .Yes I am a old soul snd 8 sm very proud yo be ! I sure wish I was a young adult woman living those golden days listening to good wholesome pure emotional crystal clear sweet sounding music. Jow my heart and soul and I miss those old days if long ago! 💔
No, Danica - Don is the one with the darker, slightly curly hair and wears dark glasses in some shots. Phil has the lighter, brown hair. Don sings the melody and does the solos, while Phil has a higher voice and does the harmonies.

Nowadays ,they sure don't make music like the oldies music way back from those good old' in days ( generations) 30's, 40' s 50's ,60,s 70,s classic time period thst are now locked away in aold' in days classical time capsule from long ago.,only to r eminisce about for future generations ( I was born 11/02/68 l) ,damn I was born in the wrong generation. I should have been born in July , 2, 1948 as this idea would have been 💡ideal4 me! How 🤔as a gifted( 3 fifferent type of empaths) emotional empath how can really relate to their type of music as it sooths my whole soul and the some!Always remembered and never forgotten like the flower calledfor- get ' me - not- never 4 ever more 💔Danica r.i.p e.b.s . I.love this type of music because it emotionsl, melodioc, sweet soothing sounding for my soul and harmonious and easy listening on my sensitive ears & it wakes up my sensitive soul that has been feeling 😩 is it leery or weary or perhaps idk!

If Richard had been a girl, the Carpenters might have rivalled the Everlys - Karen's voice makes me go weak at the knees. But despite being familial and talented - as the Andrews, the Whites, the Carter Family, and the girls with the extra letters (Beverlys), Don and Phil are unsurpassed.

It's strange that Don was more of a Demoncrat and Phil was a Conservative. There was a division between them. Don supported Clinton in 2016.
