One thing I observed alot in "Knowing bros" was whenever Super Junior appears as guests Heechul always try to make them comfortable and also push them to show their talents to others and hype them up when they perform 💙... i think it seems awkward in a sense that they have such opposing personalities/personas with heechul being like more loud and out there while by comparison teuk is quieter but the care between them is so sweet and makes the slight awkwardness kinda cute
After the incheon fight and teuk told him that he was his only friend (same age) that was when heechul said he will always in lee teuk side no matter what happens 😉
It’s 2024 and (2 months ago) i just watched a clip of Heechul & Leeteuk having to spend 24hrs with each other. Heechul decided it would be a fun activity to go see a mental health professional together. Leeteuk was really reluctant to do so but Heechul insisted on them going for the sake of trying it just once, and the reason behind it is because he noticed Leeteuk had been saying he was feeling “tired” the past few days - he took it as a warning sign and wanted to take care of Leeteuk. I forgot the name of the show but it was super 🤧🤧🤧

I never liked Hodong or that other rude/cold man on this show (I don’t remember his name, he’s the one sitting 2 seats behind Heechul) They have really weird attitudes, acting like they’re better than everybody else just because they’re older. Even to the point where they make the idols who come onto the show feel uncomfortable, like how many times have they joked about the fact that they scold Yesung when he doesn’t know how to act on variety shows. Heechul is there to keep them in check. They act like authority figures instead of cast members and it really bothers me. It’s like they go out of their way to let people know of their superiority, but Heechul takes absolutely NONE of that shit, and he puts them RIGHT BACK where they belong; on the same fucking level as everyone else. He reminds them that they are NOT better/superior to everyone else. That’s why Heechul is my #2 fave (Yesung being #1). He’s loyal and devoted, not just to his members but to everyone he knows & is friends with. And he absolutely will NOT tolerate anyone trying to intimidate anyone he loves. I’m so glad he’s on the show to put these obnoxious old men in their place. Heechul is the best!
Heard of Hodong’s stories regarding his attitude towards younger or his juniors before.. seen how he tried to intimidate hc in this same show, but the latter knew how to deal with it..I’ve read somewhere else saying that YJS is a better mc, but KHD has better attitude..the stories about KHD say otherwise..haven’t heard of YJS’s stories that are against him but good ones..even one member of KB talked about how YJS helped him before..
i would say hodong abused his power of being a senior and an elder to leeteuk, the things we’ve heard (all we actually know), it’s clear that hodong is the type to know his power in the entertainment world so it’s not surprising he’s done it to a veterinarian idol (who is literally known as the leader of sm and kpop idols), other the super junior members and other groups. from all we know i wouldn’t outright say he’s abused him per-say, because the comments are right- abuse is a strong word.
I can't fault them , Leeteuk and Heechul , for how they behave around each other ( polite , a little banter here and there , but still a bit awkward ) if you've been working for more than a decade with someone who is the complete opposite of your personality you gotta make it work somehow and I guess that's how they make it work . To me , it shows how much they value their group , they're not super fond of each other but they want to make it work not just for them but for everyone in the team .
