Happy new year Kate from my mustard yellow sofa that coordinates so well with your lime green. I’ve decided to join you on Patreon for the new year. I believe in the joy of creativity, the freedom to make things that bring you pleasure, add brightness and color to life, to enrich those around you with your being and to break the rules. I stopped quilting because of the many rules but seeing your work reminds me of the pleasure it brings. So for now I make little mug rugs for birthdays for the coffee and tea drinkers in our family. The hand quilting gives me great pleasure.
When I find it difficult to get out of bed some days, I find myself watching the drawer tidying videos. I chuckle at what kindred spirits we are and am motivated to get up and fill up a box of stuff to donate. New Year's day plan here? Watch Kate and purge...and work on a Project Linus quilt.
