I like Loz because they put alot of attention to detail in the inside of all their sets. Plus I don't have space in my room. So a win-win. Detail crammed to the max.
Yea a lot of people think the same but for Asia these are popular just because there’s not enough room in general lol. But I think you could pull off a regular size for most of these sets if you take the time to find the parts.
I’m the opposite. I live in 684 sq ft and space to display things is at a minimum. I love the LoZ minis for that reason and for the build detail. I find the instructions much clearer than L E G O and really am drawn to the Asian themed designs. I separate by colors in mini ziplock bags - it works well.
If LOZ would have been around 10 years ago with larger buildings like this, I may have opted to build my city at that scale. Although the stickers probably would have driven me mad! I've built a lot of their little tiny buildings but those are more whimsical than realistic. Your kids are getting bigger! Crazy to think it was just a few years ago..... Anyway they should do one of their own reviews. That might be fun!
I have this set and it's companion. This was a fun build with so much detail. I'm 3/4 through the bigger set now. Agree that the stickers can be a pain and I really dislike stickers across multiple bricks. Overall though, It was a really satisfying experience and the end product is really good looking. Going back to standard bricks after Loz does feel a bit like going from lego to duplo ha ha.
They’re growing up so fast! I hope your family are well! I was curious to get a closer look at this set. I ordered the corner one which is on its way. I don’t know if they’re old or new but I noticed some other Hong Kong themed LOZ mini sets related to Ocean Park HK as well as all these tiny Hot Wheels sized HK trucks. I think there’s 3 series with 6 sets per series. I did get series 3 and built 1 so far, I feel they’re great, scale well alongside the little LOZ shops.
The little cat is beyond cute! Cats in this kind of toys are always cute n.n This building is architectonically gorgeous, and even some of the stickers are little pieces of art, like the mountain paintings n_n The last part was unexpected and cute, I can imagine your children joining you in future reviews n.n I've always wondered: living in Hong Kong, isn't unconvenient not knowing how to read chinese characters? o.o Is there a story behind it?
Haha I’ll get the kids on more soon. As for the Chinese writing and language. Not so much a barrier for me growing up. Everybody insist to translate for me even my own dad lol.

I haven't heard that much about Loz at all...it's always been opposite for me and my customers. We get too many spares lol. For missing parts they can easily get requested if you ask the place you got it from.

I'd love to see this in non-mini brick form. Never been a fan of mini-bricks. The incompatibility is a massive breaking point.

Yes they have loads of crossover with hk non brick brands. The ocean park cable car is cool. We’re all good stuck in a typhoon now lol.

what put me off Loz is their color scheme, for me, it seems a bit all over the places.
Depends on the set for me but for the most part I never found myself feeling that.
Don't buy LOZ product. Always lack of parts when ship out.
