i feel like when i play this game i have a harder time returning to ESO. But theres nothing wrong with taking an extended vacation from the game. POE2 is amazing!
xD have you tried Gelid Staff with Firewall, put pierce and faster casting support in the frost bolts, walk up close to insta-freeze shotgun rares and bosses or shoot flaming frost bolts through the firewall at range then laugh at everything and anything until level 20-24+? Even more fun when your Gelid Staff rolls with cast speed or + to spells too. Then transition to your build when frost shotgun is falling off in act 2. That first Gelid Staff route doesnt need any special talents so you can keep talenting towards your build from the start already.
Odd to hear your voice on a not ESO vid. :) Note that I've heard in other videos ranged minions tend to get stuck in doorways. They seemingly don't like to follow your ping like melee minions will. Also VERY important note; you have to activate the passive aura type skills. They don't go on your hotkey bar, so you won't be able to see if they are active or not if you aren't looking at your skill page. I was disappointed when I found out you can't attack with a scepter. I was considering trying out a tankish death knight minion kind of build. Maybe that'd be more viable once Templar goes in and dual wield something like Flail and Scepter. Witch seemed to die whenever she got hit with anything, heh.
Might want to balance your evasion/shield I had zero issue going through all the acts and on t15 maps now. I did go sceptre and shield got a shield that lets me be on raise shield and full mobility.

The witch is actually super active and complicated compared to other one-button classes like the storm wave monk or the spark sorceress.
