Stative Verbs: tutto quello che devi sapere sui verbi di stato in inglese e sul loro utilizzo

Oggi ti svelerò tutto quello che devi sapere sugli "stative verbs"!
Come ci suggerisce il nome, questo tipo di verbi indicano proprio uno stato e il loro opposto sono i cosiddetti "action verbs".
🚨 Cosa è importante ricordare nel loro utilizzo? Questi verbi generalmente non si coniugano mai alla forma "continuous".

Quando to have ha il significato di "fare" e non "avere" da stative verb diventa action verb: to have dinner, to have a shower, to have a shower, to have a conversation.. E quindi utilizzabile nella forma del continuous.
Alcuni esempi di stative verbs: to appreciate, to believe.

la forma "I'm thinking" quindi non indica uno stato ma un'azione, giusto? E quanto al titolo della celebre canzone "I've been loving you" di Otis Redding?

Eh..In realtà il verbo essere TO BE ha un'eccezione come il verbo avere: I am a stupid (sono uno stupido...."ed è un dato di fatto che io lo sia sempre")....oppure...I am being stupid (mi sto comportando da stupido in un momento preciso "ma non lo sono sempre" lo sono in quel momento preciso)
