Most seem to have missed the history. Battle belts are older. The "shooters" belt is just an updated battle belt.
You’re wrong what they’re displaying as a “shooter’s belt” is also better at load bearing anyone who’s worn an issued “battle belt” with all the issued gear knows this. The reason they’re popular in Ukraine is cause they’re cheap and abundant not cause they’re better
There is another option and that is the full belt system meaning you run some sort of body armor with no pouches and every pouch you need is on your belt this is usually favored by Russian forces it is my personal favorite belt system
Yup🔥
British have mastered this system
@@Cottonydock9 I have seen some of the newer belt webbings from Britain that are pretty impressive I still think the Russians to do a better job but I will admit the British made some pretty nice ones
Say good bye to your hips
@@sungukyun2608 actually under the playe carrier they wear suspenders like the old vietnam style ALICE gear. So all the weight goes to the shoulders and hips
Both have a time and place but I prefer a battle belt for sure. The best method I use to secure it to your body is by having a holster with a thigh strap on one side and you can mimic it with another thigh strap and a piece of longer Velcro looped over the the inside of you belt, adjusted to your desired length then loop the tag around the opposite thigh strap. Got the inspiration from a M60 gunner during the gulf war using Alice Gear.
Shooter belt I personally prefer that I have a belt similar to that with the same pouches and I absolutely love it. Everything stays in place. It doesn’t move quickly reloads magazines don’t fall out when running and everything just stays in the position you need it to instead of being halfway up your back and the holster set up. I’ve got is perfect for that sort of belt set up as well
Battle belt works great on the homestead!
Which one do you use?
@@christopherbarto9554condor - low price ats - medium price
HSGI slim grip belt with suspenders is the way to go. Also safariland holster with the leg strap stops the belt from riding up on you when you draw/bend over. Suspenders keep it from falling down. Plate carrier goes on over Suspenders. Haley micro rig with flat pack goes on over the carrier.
>rig over carrier
you're giving me BCT flashbacks. just set up your PC, man.
@@capt.raptor4650 I have a jpc but I really prefer the slickster and a haley d3 rig over that. I can drop the rig and still have 3 mags and an ifak in the cummerbund of the slickster. Or I can use just the chest rig with no armor and still carry basically the same load.
I was using the jpc for a while but after watching some videos from Jeff gerwich at modern tactical shooting I switched things over to try out the pc/chest rig and I've been liking it a lot more. The only big downside is trying to clip the rig together around armor is a bit of a pain.
@@johnc5330
I just hate having straps on straps on straps. plater carrier with a rig on it is one thing--but then add any other kit (hydration, backpacks, satchels, bandoliers, any other auxiliary equipment)--that's too much bulk. sure, there's something to be said about being able to take off the kit and still have the protection. it's definitely a give-and-take, like whether or not you mount active ear protection to your helmet or wear it under--if at all, of course.
the closest I'd go to rig-over-carrier is the IOTV/TAPS combo. thank god the Army finally ditched the FLC. the TAP rig can unclip from the straps and attach directly to the plate carrier itself. I'd much rather have dedicated plate carriers and chest rigs than bother putting a rig _on_ a carrier. course, it ain't a bad idea to have a slick plate carrier for the ability to do so in a pinch, but it certainly isn't my preferred method.
@@capt.raptor4650 I agree about the straps. I just have my ruck that would go over that. With hydration bladder inside that. Tbh I think I'd leave the armor home if I was out in the woods for a long period of time or doing lot of hiking. I'd just wear the rig and my ruck. If I was in an urban area or mostly in a vehicle I'd wear armor though.
I prefer the belt my dad beats me with.
😂
I felt that joke😅
@@henryhernandez4631I felt that belt..
was a really nice belt dude
You mean your daddy?
An important thing to consider is that if you wear a jacket battle belts work the best because they go over the jacket.
With shooter belts you need to lift the jacket and that left your back exposed to the cold and wind
Or get a police duty belt and some safariland pouches, looks good and when you get a jacket that is made for uniformed people it usually is shorter so it does not interfere with the belt.
Can you do a beginner's guide on cleaning guns please
If you mean real guns then this is the wrong channel for this. Evike is Airsoft stuff primarily
Sorry is was meant to say airsoft cleaning eg. How to clean the hopup
@@hallierhodes9881 you can find the user manual for your airsoft on internet.
They will tell you how to clean it and what tool use.
There’s many videos already out
Battle belt for winter. Shooters belt for summer.
Exactly
A battle belt should be used with suspenders. You get the best of both worlds that way.
Dual belt! You can wear the inner portion on your way to the field so that way when you get there you just piece the outer on and good to go
Shooter belt all day man
Any recommendations on one?
@@chrisscott7123Ferro, Shaw, Blue Force, or Ronin. Those are the main ones
I go for shooter belt if we are talking practicality if not battle belt
Shooter belts are thinner and sleeker, allowing for the use of regular belt holsters, which is why I like them.
I attach my holster to a nylon belt that I weave through my battle belt.
I like the battle belt. The shooter belt is more tacticool but has less modularity.
I usually recommend new people avoid the shooter's belt until they're familiar with MOLLE and have some experience running different loadouts.
Also don't skimp on the belt. Dodge the budget stuff and go straight for name brand. Crye, HSGI, etc
Literally nothing you just said is correct
I feel that shooter's belts are the best do to it not moving much and you can make it for whatever situation you need it for.
I’d like a mix of both, like the Condor LCS Cobra
Shooter belt. I like secure which means consistency. In a do or die situation I expect to be moving. A lot.
I use and train with both. Each one has a separate application. I use my battle belt for airsoft games. But a shooters belt for real steel.
Just use belt keepers on you battle belt? Technology that's 20+ years old hasn't been heard of, imagine
BRO LITERALLY. The belt keepers are hella efficient if you need the extra retention
I get this is in terms of airsoft but in a real setting I definitely prefer the shooters belt it’s more comfortable when in the prone and kneeling for long periods of time specially with a ruck on
Both setups have their ideals....Battle belt if you have a way to keep it in position between transition or movement to contact. Shooters belt if you want to remain modular and free to move for quicker reaction.
i’m choosing battle belt every time, for the sole reason of it being extremely fast to equip and gear up. you literally just throw it around your body regardless of what clothes you are wearing ( gym shorts, boxers, naked ) and you can go to work but with the 2 piece belt system you can’t do that and it’s not fast at all, it takes forever to get on compared to the traditional one piece belt and u need to be wearing pants with belt loops to even run the belt. 2 piece is slower, less convenient, does not have many benefits besides a little more security and stability on the body. The 1 piece belt will always be better in my opinion because it’s just so fast and convenient not matter what you’re wearing it’s always going to be able to be put on and run extremely quickly and it’s not like they have bad stability and security on the body, the right one piece belts don’t move much at all and it’s not like you cant adjust it, you can adjust it extremely quickly for what ever situation you’re in
For a moment there it looked like he was wearing zip off short shorts
Nah just tactical pants 😂
The first one looks like it hade more versatility
Depends on the situation. But battle belt wise, I'd recommend something with a rubberized inside so that it will grip the clothing more.
Shooter's belt without any doubt. With a good setup it's wonderful and doesn't interfere with any body armour system, even a full body armour.
Downside of a battle belt is the shifting with ammo and kit in a firefight or bounding down range. You can use a suspender system to keep it from shifting as much but a shooter belt is best in my opinion.
I’ll say this if you are on a SWAT unit or counter terrorism unit the inner and outer two piece belt is your best option. If you are military let’s AFSOC, SOCOM, or part of a unit that loose of what you can use on the field of combat the battle belt would be your best option.
Watched a video about the battle belts and history of it by an ex-Green Beret combat vet been there done that channel is called modern tactical shooting I believe and he talks about the inner and outer (new system for him) and the battle belt. From what he said if you going to room to room or doing a rapid assault and not on a 3-4 week mission set, then the inner outer belt system is for you. If you are going on missions 3-4 weeks on a rotation the battle belt is best suited for you. He also said the pros of the battle belt is that it’s comfortable and moves with you also you can add more stuff to it if you like, downside is that you are going to or wanting a suspender to hold the belt in place. The pros of the inner and outer belt system that it’s very secure belt system and it’s not going to go anywhere, con’s are that the velcro can wear out overtime and it’s not that comfortable because of how stiff it is.
I've owned and used both and I prefer the shooter's belt, personally. I don't see the "it's too stiff" issue.
@@capt.raptor4650 I didn’t really say it was too stiff I’m just saying that the inner outer belt is going to be stiffer than a battle belt. Watch modern tactical shooting on the battle belt or history of the battle belt and he compares the two. I find it interesting, the guy who makes the video is a combat vet been there done that combat vet, and very very knowledgeable guy to, he makes great points about gear and stuff. He even did a video on the SCAR
@@Chris09978
I didn't mean to imply that you specifically had the "too stiff" complaint; just that it's one I've heard a lot and, frankly, I just ain't seein' it.
@@capt.raptor4650 I see, I’m currently in EMT school and looking at the inner and outer belts because well I can attach many things to it such as an IFAK TQ my trauma sears, stethoscope radio, etc. Surprisingly it actual fits for my role and a lot of EMS units uses these types of belts. But my main concern was the stiffness which I guess it’s half truth to it, for me price is a major concern $140 for a belt lol. Have so many other things I have to buy as well, I still have a student blood pressure cup and the professional grade ones are just a what the fuck meaning ($130 for a blood pressure cup) but understand why. I am slowly building out my stuff like a fucking IFAK and what I need to put in it cost around $400 with everything I need lol for an IFAK (more so trauma not basic) also $90 for that IFAK on top of that. Another thing I’m looking for as well is a trauma rucksack as well cause my career goal is SWAT medic but will get that later in the future before you ask yes I am willing to go to paramedic school.
As you can tell medical stuff that’s quality and trusted by the TCCC are not cheap, what’s worse is that I’m also looking into airsoft as a hobby lol.
@@capt.raptor4650 you're probably thinking of inner/outer duty belts which loop together not velcro. The outer belt is super thick and stiff leather.
Why not always the “shooters belt”? 🤔 If you’re in that big of a hurry just strap it on like the “battle belt” with the Velcro attached. Seems like a no brainer.
Both I wore a battle belt on many deployments and ops. The shooter type for recreational use
I use a "shooter belt". I use airsoft as a way to get used to kit for actual fighting. My entire airsoft kit is based off of my real kit so having a more secure vest/rig and belt. Is overall better for you if you do what I do
You forget to mention that the shooters belt is much less comfortable than a battle belt
It's just as comfortable tho
Both. Purpose driven belt use.
Does anyone know the name of the shooter belt shown in the vid ?
The build belts with leg straps so you dont pull your bellt up while drawing. And the leg straps offer more option for gear and holster placement
Shooter belts are the #1 choice for American Law Enforcement, though military often prefer battle belts. It really is a matter of personal preference, and I lean towards shooter belts
Your shooter belt is my battle belt. You don’t want to have your kit flopping around when you’re on the move. It takes me about 3 seconds to kit up and go.
Hsgi has shooters belts that has the option of inner belt, or you can have a slim padded rubber piece that you can use to make the belt a battle belt.
It's what I use.
What was the battle belt he used in the video?
Battle belts are the way of the dinosaur
Run your holster through your inner belt and let your outer belt hold everything else. That way you can take stuff off without disarming or spin your belt to move pouches to experiment with placement without moving your gun.
Exactly what I do keeps your holster in place but everything else ajustable easily
Shooters belt. I can fit mine over without the inner belt if needed
Both at the Same time is good
Get a shooter belt and buy the high speed micro grip belt panel now you have the modularity for what ever situation is needed.
Hey is that a store ? . If it is please tell me the name and location

I rock a lc3 alice belt with bianche pouches and holster and sopmod flashlight kit pouch for the shittest flashlight that failed pouch is good XD and a safariland spear gen1 molle misc pouch and a lc1 double 20 round m16 mag pouch
2nd one cause you can do the same as the first one if you choose to just run no inner belt
But fir that you need a outer belt with loops so it will not scratch your clothes
@@JackkDevilwho cares if it scratches your clothes, your very likely gonna get your clothes scratched up if your actually playing seriously
Bro kinda sounds like pedro pascal not gonna cap
You could easily modify the battle belt with some straps and buckles. Would take less than an hour.
A strap around each thigh with a buckle for quick release, and a strap up to the belt. Stop that lifting easily.
I'd still go for the shooter's belt set-up
One click and the outer belt comes off, the inner belt can be used as a normal belt?
I use what’s inside the belts for Airsoft. I don’t need all the additional stuff on it. All I have on it is my drop-leg holster and a thing of mollie on my left leg with pistol mag holders.
I have the grey ghost gear shooter belt. It stays where i have it, holds everything well
If you don’t want your battle belt to slip around just tuck your shirt in and get a Battle belt that has a nice rubber inner lining.
Shooter with drop leg holster
I prefer the army surplus Alice system it is easy to get out of and for me doesn't move much
Shooters belt is my go to
Police style gun belt, same premise as a shooters belt but I used keepers so it allows the belt to shift a bit but not much.
I have battle belt with suspensors that is velcroed to my waist belt and it works perfectly 😊
What belt u use
@@AYKAYFORTY7British army multicam war belt, modified
Both are war belts if u take em to war
What about the first one with thigh straps? It would give it more support and you could lower the pistol holster to be closer to your hand.
Use both
Is a battle belt suspended combo good? Or just a battle belt for bugging out and or SHTF?
Which shooter belt is that?
My team often goes to big event with cars. My favourite is therefor the shooter belt because otherwise you have to do the piccard manoeuvre every time you get out the car.
My battle belt didn’t come with a clip to connect I don’t know if I’m supposed to get a clip separate or if it attaches to my vest can you help me
To be honest just get regular police duty belt, get some safariland pouches on it and a ifak on it, it is was superior to any "Battle belts" as it is more flexible, easier for person to bend or crawl and stays in place way better than any other belt. Also look proffesional. But make sure you dont wear in clothes resembling police cause than you have a problem.
I use my battle belt attached to my vest setup, everything is attached to one piece and doesn't move at all
Battle belt mostly used by infantry
I like my 2 piece "shooter" belt
Why not make a mix of both?
Tighten the battle belt 😅
Shooter belt but neither my belt's fit
By any chance what is that shooter belt?
Anyone in the know.. knows to use a shooters belt. Leave velcro liner in use eh it snags on ya shirt but it's not as bad as an issue. Less using a battle belt that doesn't work as well in mag drawing or replacment
Battle Belt = Military
Shooter Belt = Civilian
#SimpleAsThat✌🏽😎
Not as simple as that at all. Not gonna lie that didn’t even make sense
My battle belt has a second nylon belt with a quick release worn inside the battle belt. I wear it over my clothing and it has a rubberized inside that sticks to my clothing. Elite Survival.
Lol my belt offers both options.
i prefer shooter belts
I got the battle belt but with suspenders hooked into them
id do both
I prefer hoodie 😊
Shooters belt system on a battle belt molle with suspenders
Jesus christ, Terry, that's a solid belt system right there
@@_hi_pwr I have two dump pouches hanging off it one carrying a drum mag for my Glock so the load being on my shoulders really helps without giving up too much mobility
The 2nd, in battle your gunna have to get used to keeping your gear on
Patience over problems
I'd like the shooter belt but I can't afford either one
Because I am a thick boy I like the battle belt but for thinner kings the shooters belt will be perfect.
I use a battle belt but I don’t draw from it because I’m a speedsofter
I prefer battle belt with velcro
Ok this is very informative I never knew this
Can you do one on plate carriers
Where can I get the shooter belt?
It doesn’t take a while to get on and off?
competition belt the best
5 11 belts all I use is a dump pouch
Warbelt with ballistic protection inside (single belt, without velcro inner) and shoulder straps for situation, when i need to dump some liquid without putting off my gear
Which battle belt is that from your store/site?
Gotta be secure, and close to Not moving At -All...!!!
