Nuxt/Vue will still be the most beloved tools for WebDev that no one talks about.
So true! I feel like nobody is really talking about how far ahead Nuxt and Vue are. They’re only talking React or Astro. I wish James would review Nuxt
Vue/nuxt is great, has great dev tools, it's fast, very nice API/DevX similar to svelte in a lot of ways, has signals, you can embed directly in html via script tag if you want and have no build step, it's awesome
I fell off Nuxt during the somewhat bumpy/lengthy transition from 2 to 3. What does Nuxt have specifically these days over Next, SvelteKit, Astro, etc?
I remember the modules being pretty rad but outside of that, what am I missing out on?
@@jaminroberts2333 I'm not familiar with Nuxt 2, but when I tried Nuxt after using Next/Astro I felt like I was coming home. The auto imports, which result in very clean code, insane devtools, integrations, & transitions api just to name a few.
@@jaminroberts2333 much more stable, give it a try. Fantastic DX and easier to get a job, if you want
Jimmy Q keeping it real 🤘
I think you should do a video recap of 2023 prediction and if any of the one you mention came true or not :)
I love HTMX, I have been building lots of little apps with it. I went full python, and built a full SPA just to see if I could with 0 JS. Obviously small UI changes shouldn't be handled by the server, but it was still a fun challenge
everyone will build their portfolio 15 times with 15 new tech stack but will still have to use that old tech for work
i'm on v4 on my portfolio
I have used rust to serve react, the query is just about hundred micro seconds to few milliseconds and it just feels like you're just query cached data from the client side 😂
What about pwa being blocked by apple in Europe due to a law?
In my view, 2024 will be the coronation year of Astro. Astro 4, maybe Astro 5?
can you do a skincare video? ( i know its not related) but your skin glows more than the tropical sunny zone of Central India (where i live)?
Hi, whats the plugin at 2:21 plz😮
it's the search bar that pops up when you open a new tab in Arc browser
What should die, but it wouldn’t . React. Tailwind.
I hope AI will finish the frontend area in 2024. There is unnecessary difficulty and ridiculous concepts.
cant agree more! The amount of nonsense on the web with frameworks is just mind boggling. I am getting into Agriculture btw. :D
Laravel 11 is coming out and with it php will rise !
I am tired of all these frameworks lol
