No worries my friend. If adding a cool way to increase visibility is something you prioritize. I'd recommend doing it. Just take your time when deciding where to place them. Some people think the lighting looks good when youncan see them directly and it has a "glow" effect.
Thanks for the video, I just installed mine while following the video to see where you put yours. I am now trying to put the fairings back on, but the clips on the side fairings under the headlights are not clicking in place after I screw the sides in, did you have any issues like this when you were reassembling the bike?
Hello ! First of all, thank you for your video. I have two questions: Can you give us the link to the led you bought? On the video, we can see that you turn the leds on and off manually with the remote control. Is it possible to make the leds turn on when you turn the bike's ignition on and off when you turn the bike's ignition off? Thank you for your answers and sorry for my English, I am French 🙂
What was your experience like, did you set it up pretty easily? I avoided splicing the white line for now due to law enforcement in my area really not liking "red" lighting on bikes or lights that changed color while the vehicle is being operated.
@@TopTeemShay I spliced I to the brake line and it works great. As long as no lights are facing forward of blue or red your good in most cases. The bad is when they flash or are visible to the front. The process did take time for me. I did all the wires and tucked them. I will post a video later or attach a picture for you guys. One of the best light products I’ve bought in a long time.
Ha ....I just got the same kit. I got lucky af and got a 06 concours with 4500 on it . But I have no fkn idea what I'm doin so I figured I'd try and get some tips and hints... Question: would it be okay to connect to the fuses? I don't know which wire is actually the one I should splice into ...BTW I'm I Ohio too bub !
I’m also from Ohio and have ridden past cops countless times with my blue leds on and have never had any issues. Also is that the East 9th Street Pier?
That's awesome man, im gonna stay away from those colors though. After speaking with the cops, they really seem to just play it loose and depending on who you get. They'll make a fuss over it. I've even seen them give out tickets over tread depth. It's so random bro. And yeah that's the same pier
Only when I left them on for more than a day or two. I've had that happen because I forgot to turn off the lights and left on a trip and the battery was dead afterwards. But NO they have not drained my battery or caused me problems. I also have a batter tender installed so it's very easy for me to recharge.

I also feel you about wishing you had someone to help because I'm searching on youtube, google, and instruction manuals for all my information and it just feels so damn risky learning it for the first time. Did you get the lights put on the bike? If you did, how did it turn out, you like it?
Nah, I wrapped them around some small "O'Ring Terminals" and then slid them down onto the batter connectors. It just felt more managed and convenient that way. How did yours turn out?
@@MTALPHAK1LL3R 😄 it be like that sometimes. And to be honest, I think if you want it to look nice and have the cables be clean and organized. You'll have to take your time and apply them.
@@TopTeemShay I couldn’t get mine to work i crimped everything secured them to the battery bike turns on and starts so I know the powers good the remote works but the lights aren’t working any ideas ?
@@MTALPHAK1LL3R awe man, I'm sorry to hear that. It sounds like maybe you got a faulty kit. If everything is hooked up correctly and it still won't work. Maybe reach out for a refund or replacement? Hopefully you didn't route everything through your bike already.
They work just fine! still bright, the adhesive is holding just fine. Not one light has even started to peel off, I've ridden in the rain often. Absolutely no issues with these lights from my experience, they are cheap in price as well. They don't drain my battery too much either. I've left them on for a day and a half by accident and my battery didn't die.
Sorry for the late reply my friend. This is doable on the 2018 also. For the most part, the Ninja 400 is a "2018+" model. Meaning that since 2018 to present. It hasn't changed much outside of fairings.
Not only does it look cool but I think it also makes you safer since it's catching people driving cars attention more than if it wasn't there.
Really good install video I just put my order. Thanks you're a big help✊🏾
Bro, I hope the install went well. How'd it turn out?
Just wanted to say thanks for posting the video. Debating on doing this now

What o rings did you use for the battery?
The white wire is to connect to your brake lights. When you hit the brake, the lights will turn red. I just bought the same kit.

Thank you
Nice job! What did you decide about the brake light?
I decided not to splice it into my break light. I just didn't want to run into any issues with the police here in Ohio
Great job dude! Sucks about you loosing your Fastners. Next time get a vid of you riding your bike with the lights on it.
I'll definitely do that, I've also found an Amazon link to some decent fastners. It's my own fault for not respecting how important these parts are.

When you use blinker or brake it’s automatically turn on to orange and red?
When you use the break it will automatically turn red but you'll have to splice the white wire into the break line.
