Great video. I look forward to the follow up where you actually check out the location you found using the map. The blooper at the end was also hilarious! Great job mate. Keep it up!

Some Legend thanks a lot for your comment, glad you enjoyed the video! My neighbour was really irritating me by that point, think it was a chainsaw!🤦🏻‍♂️

I knew you reminded me of someone... Will from the Inbetweeners. Take it as a compliment, it is purely the accent and general animation when you are talking/describing something.
Good informative video. Conscious it is an old vid now, but if you haven't already, a body mounted mic with one of those furry things over it would be advantageous given wind is unavoidable in the UK.

Hey Mike, yeah it’s not the first time I’ve been told that. Been called briefcase w@nker a few times too 🤣😂🤣 The mic on my phone is crap in the wind, as you can tell but I do now have a directional one with a deadcat that I use when it gets windy. Thanks for watching and commenting mate, stay safe! 👍🏼

Fab video. Lots of great advice. More people need to embrace the paper map. Ok you can see a couple of grid squares at a time on an app, but there's nothing like viewing the wider area, especially if you are planning photography.

Russell Jackson thanks for the comment Russell and so glad you liked it. Not sure when part 2 will be out, very much depends on the weather!😂

Really enjoyed this - thank you! Are you planning to do one on equipment for the beginner - I'd find that really useful!

Rachel Bleazard hi and thanks for the comment. Glad you enjoyed the video, and yes, beginner gear is definitely on my to-do list at some point in the future. Thanks again, lots more to come!

Sorry buddy but had to stop watching as that dam annoying music in the back ground done my head in. A talking and explanation video shouldn't be distracted by anything going on in the background.

Sorry pal, this was one of my earliest films and got the balance slightly wrong.
