I’ve always used google maps to look for camp sites .. just brought a local os map .. and going subscribe in spring to them .. £25 a year well worth it .. as next year 1 weekend in camper ..weekend after in tents .. we go every week till half way through December .. buzzing cheers Chris & Sam

I knew you reminded me of someone... Will from the Inbetweeners. Take it as a compliment, it is purely the accent and general animation when you are talking/describing something. Good informative video. Conscious it is an old vid now, but if you haven't already, a body mounted mic with one of those furry things over it would be advantageous given wind is unavoidable in the UK.

Been called briefcase w@nker a few times too 🤣😂🤣 The mic on my phone is crap in the wind, as you can tell but I do now have a directional one with a deadcat that I use when it gets windy. Fab video. Lots of great advice. More people need to embrace the paper map. Ok you can see a couple of grid squares at a time on an app, but there's nothing like viewing the wider area, especially if you are planning photography.
