The spotlight upon the S2000 continues to glow more brightly among the increasingly small group of people known as car enthusiasts. So it is both amusing and more than a bit sad that so few people are familiar with Honda's S car heritage. The S500, S600 and S800 (along with the S360, though it never went into production) are all deserving of much more attention than they currently enjoy. Allowing the rest of us to join you for your morning drive in your S600, even if only via video, was simply awesome.
Unfortunately, all petrol cars will soon be banned in the EU and the USA! In France there is a new law prohibiting combustion engine cars called SCHLABOUBVE and in Switzerland the HESCHLAVVO law! In the Scandinavian countries there will soon be a so-called SMORVERBIDEN law) Habeck has probably announced a federal exhaust gas ban ordinance for Germany from 2027!
@@Schlipperschlopper I don't doubt that the use of ICE-based cars will eventually be fully banned here in the States, and sooner than many can imagine. Though this won't likely occur nearly as soon here as over in Europe. Yet while most major automobile manufacturers have pledged their allegiance to EV's going forward, I"m guessing that will be a fairly short-lived technology in the overall scheme of things.
Ok I was wondering why you removed your shoes at the beginning of the video. I now understand. there isn't much room down there. Looks fun to drive. I used to have an old 2 door Dodge Omni with the 2.2 liter motor, 4 speed manual trans. It gave me the same feeling when I drove it.
If ever i have the money... I will make my own version of Honda S800... Slightly upgraded version... It will have a 4x4 capability... 550cc engine 20litre fuel tank All lightings will be LEDs Will have 20inch ground clearance... Snorkel exhaust and Air intake... 2seater and will have front and rear trunk space... Convertible roof... Digital Dash... Left side driving position...
