Tulu speaking people are there but not as much as in south canera , still people communicate in kannada not in tulu especially in the city and yes in places like mulleria, badiyadka, perla and other rural areas tulu is still the favourite language, but recently Malayalam is replacing both kannada and Tulu everywhere
