The Roaring Resolve plus a Milotic Bright Light could loop Lucarios energy search by negating the damage counters put on him. Also an ascension Gible and Gabite could help with consistently getting Garchomp ex and use Irida for other items or water Pokémon to find.
I'm actually a big fan of garchomp ex. I wish it was dragon type just so I could play it with Regidrago, but I'm glad fighting type decks got somewhat of a good card to support them
Awesome timing, thanks for the video. I have a pool of balanced semi-competitive decks that I play with friends and I've wanted to add a Garchomp/ Lucario deck. I'll reference your list, tone it down just a little, and add some different disruption so it fits into the specific meta.
I have started playing tcg again ever since I watched ur videos! Appreciate all of ur effort in making this videos so much!! Hope you have a blessed new year celebration and ahead! ❤
Maybe Tyranitar ex as a 1-1 or 2-2 line would be good in this deck. It would make the Morison match a lot better and would allow you to have an incredibly tanky hard hitter. Plus it’s attack combos very well with Lucario’s roaring resolve.
More cards to help evolution Pokemon is good, but I don’t think that’s Garchomp’s problem per se. IMO Garchomp needs some better support attackers to push it to the next level. Garchomp is great for acceleration and sometimes sniping, but it just doesn’t have the firepower to deal with most of the meta.
@@InThirdPersonthat’s true, but that’s why you do have that single prized Lucario to ohko any Pokémon in the game and this might be controversial or not but I like the great tusk from scarlet and violet base set and might replace it with the new dragon Koraidon but I’m still thinking about it. I also like using Lucario ex because it’s good against lost box with the confeys and crams and Miridon decks because it Ohkos all of Miridons Pokémon and spreading damage
How would Lady work with this deck?? She allows you to draw 4 energy from your deck. Combine that with a Radiant Greninja and even an Adaman and you’ll be set on getting the hand you need while discarding energy at the same time. Also takes less damage off of Lucario
Lady is not ideal for this deck. 4 energy is great, but you can do the same with 2 Earthen Vessels without having to burn your supporter for turn. As for Adaman, that one only discards metal energy to trigger its effect.
@@InThirdPerson ah dang so he’s useless then… I also think a Misty’s favor is great for finding your Iridas, Cheryl’s (which I think is a must have), and other research cards that can help with your current situation. Swap out two of your Battle Pass VIP for Defiance band and/or Full Face Guard for your Garchomp’s attack & defense. If you get Irida on your first turn, you can use her to get a battle VIP pass and load up your bench.
Could the Revavroom that discards an energy to fill your hand to 6 be better than bibarel? Garchomp needs to have energy in the discard to function, and its one extra card.
I don’t know much about this, but from what I saw he has a higher retreat cost and Lucario has more potential damage. Again, I could be wrong because I’m new to this
Colress gets played in a number of non-Lost Zone decks because seeing 5 cards and getting 3 is better than seeing 4 cards and keeping 2. The majority of the time, sending 2 to the Lost Zone isn’t going to hurt you. Or at the very least, the deeper dig is more valuable than losing 2 cards to the Lost Zone more often than not.

All 3 of those are great if you’re playing in Expanded format. However, none of those cards are legal for the Standard format.

In the process of building Charizard ex, but after watching a couple of different Garchomp ex videos, it makes me wanna build that as well
Charizard is definitely better than Garchomp. However, I feel like we’re gonna get the right cards to make Garchomp viable eventually.

Shhhh! I just started the game and have been building towards Garchomp.
When Path rotates, I can see Garchomp and Pidgeot being a deadly pair
Does this play out like a faster version of koraidon? Like discard energy card so as to pull it back again
9:18 electric energy for discard and Nest ball lost zone
Hopefully in the next set we get cards that really help evolution Pokemon.

i have a garchomp/tsareena ex deck ,4 rare candies, gardenias vigor, and irida , then pidgeot, radiant tsareen, and manaphy as support pokemon

Who is this Jos person donating to Extra Life? They sound great

Garchomp Ex is annoying but very beatable
Why Lucario over Groudon? Each has advantages but that’s a lot of evos to depend on.

why not use rika instead, yeah you do not draw 5, draw 4 instead, but do you want to send cards to lost zone when it's non-lost box deck?

The problem is the weakness
