Watching this masterpiece I found myself transiting the 5 stages of grief: Denial: "This isn't Cities: Skylines, its just some animation program that looks like a video game I play" Anger: "Why can't I produce the same quality of building as this master?" Bargaining: "I'll give anything to have half the skill of this artist" Depression: "Am I good at anything?" Acceptance: "Even if I had the skills, my computer couldn't handle half of the assets or mods displayed" Anyways, thanks for sharing this art, and making me doubt my life choices.
I know right ! That's why i love this city, the variety of styles. Like not a single roundabout look the same and all district hase it's own atmosphere.
I'm stunned. I watch plenty of Cities Skylines Let's Plays, and play the game myself. And I must say that is bar none the MOST BEAUTIFUL city I have ever seen. The uniques structure and size of each district. The exceptional rail-themed connections. That University Campus was just ...WOW. But most importantly the natural formation of your road layouts. The curves so many players fail to incorporate, the honest inconsistencies of traffic flow. The grid is in the Industrial district, which is where it belongs. I can go on & on, yet I'm sure you know the level of detail you put in your own designs. Westdale is unparallel to anything I've seen from this game. I applaud you; best City ever. Genuine 10/10.
The detail in this city is on another level! It is by far my favourite city in Cities:Skylines. I literally can't think of so many things for a particular area!
I wish this kind of thing was possible by just the automatic generation when playing the game normally... Imagine the possibilities... 2030 cities skylines update maybe? :D Imagine if you could zone things like military bases, advanced dockyards, different income zones and more realistic placements of buildings that are less mechanical and more natural... also more height variation and foliage spawning. Imagine like zones, instead of just plunking down a dockyard or university you would zone the area for a university or dockyard and they would grow naturally to fill that zone.
Simcity 2000 and 3000 works in that way, you just prop airport and seaport and wait to see the game fill this zones, this is the most beautifull and organic way to increase the infraestructure of your city
Will never work. The AI would need to think and know how buildings are played and where. Pretty impossible. You need to plopp down every single building if you want to achieve a good look.
Honestly this made me cry. I have about 1000 hours in CS and never in any of my builds has a city looked like this. This city looks natural, realistic and flows beautifully. I’ve never been able to achieve that. It makes me realize that city building requires a natural talent and mindset. Not everyone has it
Awesome city.. admire the work put into this project... and also found it funny that at 12:05 you have ship going through buildings ... on the top left
The music alone is worth it. Combined with the craftsmanship of your city, I don't feel i deserve the majesty you put together,; but thank you for all of it. It's beautiful.
Dude that city is a work of art... all your time and effort is so worth the result. It’s beautiful in every way and so realistic. Love the details and yes his video was definitely worth watching!
Your road design is incredible... all I can manage is grid systems with wonky random roads linked over and some under every now and again in a futile attempt to fix my traffic situations. This is amazing!!!
Alright this is incredible. There is sooo much going on here, So much variety with everything. This is truly something! I cannot imagine how long this took but dang. One of the best things I have seen in city Skylines thus far. My only critique is that I feel like there would be more suburban areas developed along the city edges and in some of the green space areas in between districts but considering how much detail and variety already exists that may not have been possible CPU or RAM wise. Awesome stuff!
The first panorama of the city made me think back to when Stricttoaster was making Cedar Valley, you two have similar yet so diffrent styles. I admitedly likes your style better, and this was the first video of yours I saw (I think, atleast.) Awesome stuff, dude!
Thank you very much. My city is built on the heavy modified version of Cedar Valley so you can see alot of similarities bw the two cities. And Strictoaster is the one who gave me alot of inspiration and experience in Cities Skylines.
Can someone tell me how the hell can somebody build such a nice city in this game? Videos like this defiinitelly make me stop playing this game as it makes clear that I just completelly suck at it. Beautifull. Genuine 11/10. Also, did you just subscribed to every asset in the workshop? So many stuff I've never seen. Man you gotta make collection on steam and I would subscribe instantly lol. Very cool city man keep building cause this is just pure satysfaction to watch.
Beyond amazing to say the least!!! It's indeed worth watching, its very satisfying. Probably you've got one of the best cities ever made in the game. Keep it up! For me the best part of your city is the government center and the naval base.
This city is the reason why I constanely tell paradox people why they should add a modding system like what what Bethesda did with fallout 4, into the Xbox version of Cities Skylines! Cuz this is just amazing, the game would be 10x better for me if it had more unique and useful mods. That could help alot for the multiple problems the base game has.
17:03 that was dope, showing the building process imagine that in next years every single thing in cities skyline must through building process. one of the main feature. maybe in cities skyline 2?
Wow... no words for describe that! Your city is like a real city O.O! Incredible! My fav part is the Crimea Bridge... but it is a very difficult question!!! In love with this City!!! Absolutely!!!
while I am a sucker for highways / freeways and the interchanges, if you hit pause @1:40: that is my favourite part of westdale. The beautiy of the complexity of the rails is just incredible...
wow.. so amazing it;s like i look at a real city, so much planning, I dont understand how a human being can do this amazing work.. no words to describe this master piece of perfection.
Me: let me build the best city ever, but first let me check some cities skylines on youtube, 20 minutes of watching, I come to a conclusion “building is not for me.”
Imo lux residence should move to another place far away off the noise-making place. In urban planning study, lux residence tends to live in the suburb or the cbd with less noise. Mid-income citizens are more likely to occupy the area near to grand union other than lux
This is amazing. WOrds cant describe it. Beautiful city I always enjoy your cinematics and builds. Only negative which really pisses me off is that I see what can be done in this game and I just cant. I'm not capable of doing such awesome builds like you :( btw ship at 12:06 lmao :D
Wow, this is beautiful! However I think some more suburbs and low density residential zoning are required... Hope you can make this even better looking than it is already!
There's a lot wrong with this city, from a practical sense. Trains that go through neighborhoods, transit that clearly isn't being used, ugly soviet style projects that again look like no one is using, a naval base for no seemingly good reasons, most naval bases are located on the ocean front for ease of access, two airports, one international located less than 200 yards of residential area and right next to each other, etc.
If you pay close attention you can see the aftermath of the Elm/Spruce war which left Spruce Hills completely Spruce-less and occupied by enemy forces...
Just watched and im not going to lie, amazing stuff dude. Good music and yes, you should have made it 20 mins. I love this game just struggle with all the mods and assets.
So you obviously are plopping every building individually. Everything is very clean and smooth. I like what you have done. Couple of questions how long does it take for your city to load and how much time do you have invested in this city? All in all great job.
This city is the only thing, that inspired me to download and play the game...I feel the hard work it took you to build a detailed city like this...Luv u and ur build...U definitely deserve respect and a sub! Edit - Can you please upload this city latest save and the mod list on steam ?
this is very stunning video..but, at the flying ship on the road make me freeze during government sector scene..might be flying dutchman ship flew away...
Is this 17 mins video worth your time? Tell me!!
You should change the text to «is this 17 minute long video worth your time?» To make it correct haha, no hate.
I think this is worth. This showcase is really amazing.
AMAZING
amazing!
Omg, that boat at 12:15!
13:10 watch the ship at right
Yup starts around 12:00
Yet another spotting of wild ferry returning home
titanic
Crossing waters is for amateurs.
😂

Most relatable comment possible
This feels like SO many cities combined
I know right ! That's why i love this city, the variety of styles. Like not a single roundabout look the same and all district hase it's own atmosphere.
TheResi42 that’s the point
I'm stunned. I watch plenty of Cities Skylines Let's Plays, and play the game myself. And I must say that is bar none the MOST BEAUTIFUL city I have ever seen.

Nobody:
"What is your favourite part in Westdale?"
Me: "Westdale."
Watch closely at 12:00
GRIZZLY lol cs physics at there best
that's easter egg :))
The haunted ship 😂
yea! its spongebob with the flying dutchman! :D
Those Italian cruise captains...
I wonder if Cities skylines could actually be used to plan and model real life green cities. Wouldn’t that be something?
The detail in this city is on another level! It is by far my favourite city in Cities:Skylines. I literally can't think of so many things for a particular area!
God this is good !
thx mate :D
At 12:06 there was a flying ship in the back haha... It kinda ruined the government sector show
It's a wild ferry on its way back home, dont be rude!
Oh yeah thats right I tottally forgot
13:08 its backing home.
I wish this kind of thing was possible by just the automatic generation when playing the game normally...

I guess Simcity 2013, Tropical 6 and Anno 1880 upcoming are already allow you to do that :D
But that would take all the fun of customizing exaclty how you want
I kinda want to playing as a people. So u create city then u can enjoy
you sir, you are the king of cities skylines. i have no words. i enjoyed every single second of the video.
I have never seen such a breathtakingly beautiful city in my life. I just wanna live there.

Absolutely stunning...
We just need a super render distance mod and a supercomputer now for maximum beauty ;)
💛💛💛
This is beautiful man. This is the kind of stuff that motivates me to play this game and strive to build cities like this one
Dude that city is a work of art... all your time and effort is so worth the result. It’s beautiful in every way and so realistic. Love the details and yes his video was definitely worth watching!
Seychelles theme? Major respect. 💯
Edit: They even included and designed a bridge extension mid construction. Just a monumental amount of detail.

so good to get the full city overview - enjoy your builds and nice to see where everything fits
I will leave in here, this's beautiful .. dreaming
It's so realistic and everything is unique. Definitely a dream city!

Easily one of the best cities built in this game..great job. :)
Excellent city. That ferry bouncing around behind Washington was funny.

I'm in love 🤩 with this city. It would be nice to live here lol. It's so detailed I'm amazed
That landing approach is gonna be something lol
favorite part was that little green boat trying to steal the show!!
@12:45 check out the flying car exiting the parking lot......it also changes the color......
Today is the first time i watched your video. Bro i loved every single thing about it! That Detail OMG!
Imo lux residence should move to another place far away off the noise-making place. In urban planning study, lux residence tends to live in the suburb or the cbd with less noise. Mid-income citizens are more likely to occupy the area near to grand union other than lux
@12:08 - that Ferry in the top left corner... dancing in the middle of town... XD
I was loving this city until I realized he was a Chelsea fan. HAHA. This city is fantastic.
This is amazing. WOrds cant describe it. Beautiful city I always enjoy your cinematics and builds. Only negative which really pisses me off is that I see what can be done in this game and I just cant. I'm not capable of doing such awesome builds like you :( btw ship at 12:06 lmao :D
Bravo, i cant see you put hours of work and effort into this, very good work
man da amount of editing dat had to go through for dis perfect flow....is wish ingame was dis smooth
Absolutely awesome. I wish I had the patience to build a city like this.
You can do it!
@@PHTNGaming thank you
Wow, this is beautiful!
However I think some more suburbs and low density residential zoning are required...

you care even with little detail, it requires lots of time, patience, and creativity.
@ 13:40 The ships are drunk and bumping into each other and jumping over docks and everything!
Hi PHTN Gaming...and hi all SC-Fans,
wow...what a nice tour in you city.
Greate job...
i want more... ;o)
have a nice day...and greetings from germany
12:00 watch the ship (top left) driving on the road lmao.
very beautiful city, wish i could make something like that!
Impressive. So many mods... I saw one tipsy ship captain. :-D
Ok. Crimean Bridge was fantastic.
If you pay close attention you can see the aftermath of the Elm/Spruce war which left Spruce Hills completely Spruce-less and occupied by enemy forces...
Magical city. 12:04 the boat proves it lmao
Just watched and im not going to lie, amazing stuff dude. Good music and yes, you should have made it 20 mins. I love this game just struggle with all the mods and assets.
Nice work, there's a lot going on but it looks "lived in". ;-)
The random ship bouncing around through the city at 12:07 HAHAHHAHA
Wow, impressive city 👌 Makes me cry now when I load mine 😂
I love the Woolworths and Melbourne Trams!
Wooww this is insane dude.! Crazy awesome
Njir gua baru ngeh klo channel ini punya orang indonesia
12:10 there’s a flouting boat in the top left of the screen
Oh my god, your city is beautiful! Great job!
So you obviously are plopping every building individually. Everything is very clean and smooth. I like what you have done. Couple of questions how long does it take for your city to load and how much time do you have invested in this city? All in all great job.
Dude you are fuckin creative n genius city builder...10/10 really nice design so amazing.
There are more places to drive than there are places to live in this place! (Whether that's good or bad depends on the person)
12:04 - 12:15 WTF!! 😂😂😂
12:02 i dont know what the boat in the background was doing but it is not normal...
13:08 and there he is again
This is absolutely stunning. Just wow.
12:05 that ship jumping around onto the skyline :D
A wild ferry on its way back home :D
Which computer do you have that is able to run this?
Không có từ nào để tả hết : Hoành tráng và tuyệt vời.
Gorgeous.. I love the way u designed the roads
Thank you !!!
Of course this is worth it + all the time u spend on it 👍👍👍
12:10 is that the boat floating between the buildings?
it's a wild boat on its way back home
This city is the only thing, that inspired me to download and play the game...I feel the hard work it took you to build a detailed city like this...Luv u and ur build...U definitely deserve respect and a sub!
Edit - Can you please upload this city latest save and the mod list on steam ?
This is clearly a masterpiece of cities skyline. If I have one thing to say it's that an elevated/bridged cloverleaf interchange makes no sense.
Phenomenal city, props is probably your best friend
what mods/subscriptions where used for the dry docks and maintenance dock
PHTN Gaming, this is insane !
am I?
@@PHTNGaming I don`t know :)), but the project (city) is awesome!
Does someone know what's the red bridge asset at 13:53 and the green overpasses at 1:38? I would love to use them in my city
Wow just wow I doubt my laptop could run this it's amazing
“Dont be rude ships cant walk” 4. Constantine (1453 or 12:06 and 13:10)
I LOVE your city! which mod you use in 2:11 and 8:54. The both train stations?
do you have links for all the buildings in the armitage district?? building a realistic cbds hard without the right assets
Stunning!
this is very stunning video..but, at the flying ship on the road make me freeze during government sector scene..might be flying dutchman ship flew away...
Hi @PHTN Gaming, will this savedgame be available on the Steam workshop of Cities Skylines?
Are you dutch? I can see it at your buildings and building style! Nice made city!
He is vietnamese bro lol
