This was our first time on the new ride at Six Flags over Texas. It was interesting to say the least. Not sure how we feel about it but believe it or not there is a part that smells like the E.T ride at Universal Orlando. We had a lot of fun in the park since it is Holiday in the Park Season.

This was a cool ride. Total pirates of the Caribbean. Even spookier. Also love the color of the lighting! And the candle light was a excellent touch! Wow great ride
It was a relaxing ride but it just seemed a bit weird. There is a part though that smelled like E.T ride at Universal. Thanks for watching
4:42 yo they turned off the annoying sing along in this part! Now it feels anonymous like the original 1964 version!
What did they have before?
@@HereforaMoment This ride is specifically based off of the 1964 ride The Cave that was housed from then until 1991, so this building is old, the original ride featured the speelunker aliens you see here, however instead of a bright and sparkle mineshaft with some awful sing alongs, they were in a very dark and realistic cave with scenes filled with low lights, as well as a lot of anonymous and stunning music playing throughout the ride, there really was no plot in this version, more of a look into this mysterious cave.
However this version has revamped into a looney toons dark ride called Yosemites Gold River Adventure with the same track layout and some of the caves cliffs remaining and repainted, the story goes as to get Yosemite Sam with Bugs bunny and his friends, pretty straight forward, however this ride would end up flooding in 2018, completely destroying the animatronics and some props, it never reopened until the park decided to revamp the ride again in honor of their anniversary, in which they used speelunkers and pirates to make a new ride, which is what we have today, however the park has not been taking much care into the ride even after the ride flooded again last year, this ride still constantly gets vandalized (which is why the ride was in bad condition when you recorded it) which isn't really prevented, but its Six Flags then again 😕
