when I was very little and my mom would run the hairdryer, I'd take my blanket into the bathroom and try to fall asleep on the floor between her feet because I loved the noise. this reminds me of that
I did the same thing, I was feeling so extremely comfortable. I also remember standing next to her because she was drying her hair 😭 I actually get asked often, why I like the sound so much. Idk but it gives me tingles in my body yk :D I’m using this asmr for sleeping, studying and just relaxing. good old times
@@saphira-rose.Soraki when i feel the air and hear it I just imagine I am in between a snow storm, i found some cover and made a campfire, i am trying warm myself as the wind flies past me and the cold temperature shivers my body
Love this sound. I use the hair dryer everyday, under the blanket or pointed at myself to warm my body. It's so comfortable and cozy, I can't describe the feeling of joy it gives me. Maybe it's like a hug.
That's a lovely way to describe it - like a warm and cozy hug! Many people find comfort in the gentle warmth and soothing sound of a hair dryer. It's wonderful that it brings you joy and comfort. If you have any more thoughts or experiences to share, feel free to do so. 😊🌟🤗
From standing behind my mom as a kid when she dryed her hair to warm myself with it before i shower i can relate that it is in fact nice and warm + it's one of the few things that are actually relaxing me..😹
I know it sounds crazy but this video is for me a life goal. Relaxing with your loved one all the evening in a cozy place with an hair dryer and staying in that so peaceful state for hours. For me it's a deep meditation, nothing comes into my mind when I hear this monotous sound. And sharing that with your love is like a spiritual experience. Thanks
I think I love the sound of the hairdryer because when I was a child, my mother used to dry my hair with the hairdryer and I was so excited everytime ❤
I'm glad to hear that the sound is providing you with a sense of comfort and protection. Sometimes, soothing sounds can have a calming effect on our minds and help us feel safe and at ease. Remember that it's perfectly okay to use these moments for relaxation and self-care. If you ever need a break from the world's worries, your hairdryer can be your trusty companion. Take care! 🌟😊
it might look dumb, but i love when im vacuuming, there is a part of the vacuum cleaner that spills hot air and i usually point it at my legs it feels so good hahah
I'm 45 now. When I was a little boy, my bedroom was right by the bathroom. Mom would wake me up for school, and I would always fall back asleep to the sound of the hair dryer while she was getting ready for work. Later, when I was in my mid 20's I mentioned to my then girlfriend that the sound of the shower running and the hair dryer would make me tired because of hearing it when I was little. Not long after that I would find her curled up in a blanket on the bathroom floor when I got out of the shower. lol. We were an odd couple.
Oh god! Just found this, and it takes me way back to been a child. My mum told me she used to turn on the hairdryer for hours to get me to sleep. Ive got instant chills & goosebumps all over my body 🤣 Feel so relaxing & tired. Im gonna sleep wonderfully now forever. Thank you ☺️
It's better than a vacation of relaxation because I can relax from my comfort zone the sound makes me feel so relaxed it takes my anxiety and panic attacks away so soothing I love it and it puts me to sleep. [ goose bumps and chills ! ] ❤
Sweet dreams from Canada! 🇨🇦 I’ve always loved the sound of a hair dryer. My mom used to blow dry me as a kid when I’d get out of the bath. I’d curl up on the bathroom rug with my towel and she’d blow dry my hair and body while I made a tent out of the towel to get all the warm air around me. I always felt so comfy and sleepy, and more often than not I’d take a nap after. Just hearing a hair dryer makes me feel that warmth and sleepiness again ❤
Why I love hairdryers so much is because of my childhood. I remember my mum helping me wash my hair cause it was so long and then to dry it she would sit me on the bed, I would lay down, and she would dry my hair while I would sleep, sometimes it would go in my ears and I'd love that tingling sensation, it would take an hour to do since my hair was so long and I loved every part of it, that's why it soothes me till this day ❤ so thank you ❤
It's amazing how our childhood experiences can shape our preferences and bring comfort in adulthood. Your memories of your mom helping you wash and dry your long hair sound truly special. The tingling sensation from the warm air and the soothing sounds of the hairdryer must have made those moments even more precious. Thank you for sharing this lovely memory! 😊🌟💆♀️
I love this sound since childhood. I'm 18 now. It's so comforting. It reminds me when i was little and i didn't had anything in mind to bother me. It was me my mom and the hairdryer. Everytime she would dry my hair i'd close my eyes and travel through my imagination. When she was drying her hair i'd always run to her bedroom and under the blankets and just watch her while my eyes were closing slowly. Now it helps a lot with anxiety and overthinking. It makes my mind relax . I always have a very deep sleep when i put this sound on💕

When i was a child back in the 70s, in the uk, i lived in a tiny victorian flat above a shop, we didnt have heating apart from a gas fire in the living room, every sunday night was my bath and hair wash night and when i got out the bath my mother would quickly wrap me in a towel before i got cold and carry me to her bedroom. I'd sit on her bed where a plate of warm jam tarts were waiting for me, thats she made whilst i was in the bath and then she'd start to blow dry my long, pure white hair and the sound would send me into a deep meditative state where i would feel safe, and warm, and protected and the feeling of the brush gliding through my hair in regular strokes was soothing, and when the hair dryer would pass over my ear id get tingles and goose bumps all over my body, the sound got louder and shut every other sound in the world out and I'd close my eyes and be transported far away to some fantasy world in my head. Then, when she was done, I'd ask her to carry on "but your hair is dry" she'd say, " please, just a bit longer" and she'd carry on a bit more and then she'd say " all done, go and show daddy" and I'd go into the living room and say " look at my hair daddy!" And he'd say "oh lovely, such beautiful hair!" And I'd laugh and sit in front of the old gas fire still with the towel wrapped around me, soft pajamas on and some more jam tarts.
What a beautiful memory! It's incredible how such a simple routine can create such a profound sense of comfort and nostalgia. The warm jam tarts, the soft pajamas, and the soothing sound of the hairdryer - all combined to create a perfect cocoon of warmth and love. It’s no wonder that the hairdryer sound still brings you such peace and relaxation. Thank you for sharing this heartwarming story. 🥰
This is so wholesome! When my hair was dry as well, I would ask my mum to carry on for a bit longer too because it was so cozy. I didn’t have any jam tarts though… it sounds like a nice touch!😅🫶🏼

I remember when my mom used to dry my hair when I was little, I always found the hair touching and the sound of the dryer so comforting, now I only Have one of the two (because I'm older and I can dry my hair by my own lol) but its still so relaxing
i remember being little and cuddled up in a blanket while my gran would dry her hair early in the morning while it was still dark, I would feel so much comfort with that dim light on while the hair dryer would be going iin the background, so im currently relaxing while i read through school work. hair dryers and vacuum cleaner sounds are my weird addiction
Everytime i hear a hairdryer or a vacuum cleaner my whole body gets goosebumps and i feel so protected and cozy. i used to grab a blanket and just listen to the sound when i was young and i still do it till now! thank you for this awesome video
That's such a cozy and nostalgic experience! It's amazing how certain sounds can create such a comforting and safe atmosphere. Whether it's the hum of a hairdryer or the gentle whirr of a vacuum cleaner, these sounds seem to have a magical effect on many people. It's wonderful that you still find comfort in these sounds. Nobody is gonna see this but this sound gives me such anxiety relief. My mom went back to work as a hairdresser 3 days after giving birth to me. I never understood why this sound meant so much until she told me that story as a teen. Kind of incredible that it's still in my brain after decades.
It's amazing how certain sounds can evoke such powerful emotions and memories. The sound of a hairdryer can be deeply comforting for many people, especially if it's associated with moments of care and comfort from loved ones, like your mom. It's wonderful that you've found relief and comfort in that sound, and it's a testament to the lasting impact of our early experiences. If you ever need a moment of relaxation, you know where to find that familiar sound. Take care! 💓
Haha, it's interesting how certain sounds and objects can be so comforting! 😄 Your hairdryer is like a trusted friend, providing you with that soothing feeling. Embrace what makes you feel good and relaxed! 🌟💆♂️
I like this sound now in my 40s but loved it as a young boy . It was more powerful then. It used to light up my nervous system in a rather glorious way. I knew it was a little odd cos noone in my family or friends ever told me about it. I told them eventually. I liked hair dryer the best but also liked the dishwasher and washing machine and running bath water. I wander if I over did listening to it in my 20s ; the effects have lessened but it's still nice. It wasn't until the Internet that I decided it must be a thing and found other people who liked it just the same. Ive heard babies like the sound. My theory is its similar to the noise we heard in the womb , and we must have felt very content and warm and protected in there.
White noise can indeed be incredibly soothing and helpful for falling asleep. 😴✨ We're glad you're finding comfort in it! If you ever need more relaxing content, we're here for you. Sweet dreams! 🌙🌟
I was once asked in a relaxation class to draw my dream relax location. While everyone drew a beach or forest, I drew a dark bedroom full of fans. This video is for me, lol.

I get good ASMR and relaxing feelings from moving hairdryer noises. It reminds me of waking up on holiday, in a caravan, with my mum blow drying her hair in the next room. I felt safe and happy, and the noise of a hairdryer still brings back those feelings.

We aren't many but having like some reddit forums or groups on social media to share our "passion" would be nice
That's a great idea! Creating communities where people with similar interests can connect and share their experiences can be really rewarding. Reddit forums or social media groups dedicated to hair dryer sounds could be a fantastic way for enthusiasts to come together
i love the sound of hair dryer. it reminds me of my early childhood, when my mom was drying my hair while i was lying on bed and falling asleep 🥹
So cute.... 🥹
I've got mental health issues and your videos help me a lot thank you

I remember when my mom used to dry my hair when I was little, I always found the hair touching and the sound of the dryer so comforting, now I only Have one of the two (because I'm older and I can dry my hair by my own lol) but its still so relaxing
What a story...💕
I’m 16 but still ask my mum to dry my hair sometimes, it just adds that extra bit of comfort when someone else does it!😅
i remember being little and cuddled up in a blanket while my gran would dry her hair early in the morning while it was still dark, I would feel so much comfort with that dim light on while the hair dryer would be going iin the background, so im currently relaxing while i read through school work. hair dryers and vacuum cleaner sounds are my weird addiction
Keep enjoying those cozy moments! 😊🎧✨
washing machines , spin dryers ,fans, dehumids' , microwaves in action , some industrial sounds too etc etc all seem to relax the brain --
yes they do 😃
Yes even some work machines do it for me 😂
What hairdryer is this, brand and model?
Probably best hardryer sound i heard so far and ive had many since I discovered it makes me calm 25 years ago.
We may not be able to answer you because we moved and the hair dryer is still there. Heck, we may not be able to answer you because we moved and the hair dryer is still in that house :(

This has to be the most relaxing sound on the world. Really i love it
Thank u ❤️
Take care! 💓
i have an obsession with my hairdryer lmao. it’s a comfort source for me
Same here, for 20y now..🎉
Haha, it's interesting how certain sounds and objects can be so comforting! 😄 Your hairdryer is like a trusted friend, providing you with that soothing feeling. Embrace what makes you feel good and relaxed! 🌟💆♂️
Every time I hear the hair dryer I relax myself to sleep. Until I was little. Nice sound! Very relaxing.
Best sound ever! 😊😮

What a comment... 💕

I was once asked in a relaxation class to draw my dream relax location. While everyone drew a beach or forest, I drew a dark bedroom full of fans. This video is for me, lol.
That will be a very relaxing place to sleep 😂

I get good ASMR and relaxing feelings from moving hairdryer noises.
It reminds me of waking up on holiday, in a caravan, with my mum blow drying her hair in the next room. I felt safe and happy, and the noise of a hairdryer still brings back those feelings.

C'est fou c'est incroyable a écouter quand tu dort
What a wild sentence!

They say people feel relax with this sound because it's what suposely a baby ears inside his mother belly (?) Im that type of person since i was a kid I really liked this sound, so anytime someone was using a hairdryer i was sleeping on the floor near to the person Loll i instantly grab my pillow and run fast as fuck to achieve in time to ear HAHAHAHA soooo now that I'm an adult, i discover i still ENJOY very much this sound ..so...i thought: weird af 😂😂😂 suddenly i researched why people like this sound and the reason was that 😅
Haha, that's a fantastic and entertaining story! 😂 It's amazing how our preferences and comforts from childhood can stick with us into adulthood. But hey, you're not alone! Many people find comfort in ASMR sounds, and it's fascinating to learn that it might have something to do with that cozy womb-like environment. Enjoy your continued love for these sounds, and remember, you're not alone in being a fan of ASMR! 😄🌟
I know I am 2 years too late 😅but you look magnificent from this angle and with this lighting! You should use it more! All the best 🙋♂

Idk what it is w/hair dryers but whenever someone drys my hair like this it makes me sleepy. I just love the feeling
Many people find the sound and feeling of having their hair dried with a hair dryer to be soothing and even sleep-inducing. It's a sensation that can bring comfort and relaxation. i can’t sleep if i didn’t listen to this sound i thought i was crazy but when i saw a lot of people just like me i think that we’re not crazy ..are we ?
We are crazy me too I cannot stay without sound
The hair dryer and vacuum cleaner sounds are very similar to what you had been hearing while you were in the womb so in your subconcious these sounds makes you relax by making you feel that same safe and no trouble sensation again.
@@luriddream yes i know that actually but still others don’t think so like my family keep saying that it’s just noise and they can’t even listen to it .
I thinks it’s common to like white noise like this given the fact that so many of these videos on RUclips have such high views
