Yep I would like to know the answer to this question too. Seems everyone is tight lipped for some reason. I posed the question regarding the four planes. TL Stream, Blackshape Prime, Shark Aero, Tarragon. Not much difference in configuration. Too similar for there to not be a link between them?? Suppose time will tell.
tought call, i'm stuck between this and a Vans RV8 quick build (i don't trust the work of some random guy in his garage with my life). the RV8 is faster, more aerobatic and cheaper, over all a better aircraft, but it will take years to build. on the other hand the BS Prime is probably safer, looks better, and i don't have to spend years to get it to work. i don't know what to do.
I believe many will share your dilemma. The RV8 uses (usually) a Lycoming and is all metal, the BSP a Rotax and Carbon fibre. Moulded Cf SHOULD be a whole lot cheaper... Think Fibreglass and Jabiru aircraft fuselage/wings costs. No question Cf is more expensive than aluminium but the less labor required should offset the cost. i.e labor costs > material cost.
What a great airplane, makes me wanna be a pilot. Thank you for this.
Nice plane... Still I am struggling to see the combat element :)
Magnifique. What is the Rotax model and the airplane price ? pls
Rotax 912 ULS3 or the Rotax 914 ULS3. It will set you back about $200k new.
bout to trade in my civic for one of these.
So the Tarragon is basically this exact airplane but better?

Maxime Mergen RV8. Better performance, better support, proven airframe.
