- Boothill even with the worst conditions for him so far, no ramp-up, no MoC buffs and no Ruan Mei still managed to pull off a 2 cost 0 cycle. This once again proves that he's the superior DPS compared to Firefly, as Firefly still need Ruan Mei and E2 to 0 cycle this. With Ruan Mei and E0 Boothill, this would've been much easier, so this isn't just a 2 cost 0 cycle, it's a restricted 2 cost 0 cycle. Even with all these disadvantages, Boothill can STILL beat the fraudulent DPS while holding back. Unlike some retards would like to claim, even on Private Servers, Firefly will always be a loser, never winning always losing, so no, pointing out PS clears prove nothing. Firefly stans are troglodyte simps.

Honestly firefly is strong, but hoyo just went above and beyond for her and didn't bother to do at least somewhat the same for other characters, leaving jade unfairly underestimated. Firefly as a character is just a typical anime girl protagonist who has a sobstory of a background🤷♀️I am interested in learning more abt glamoth but not through her.
As much as I like firefly, indeed, I want to see more glamoth characters... bro we can meet another mech lol. Especially, Titania. This game has really good lore, it's what always keeps me coming back.
FF is overated in gameplay and story and it sad that Hunt will never be treated fairly by Hoyo and most of the players

there was a reddit post I saw discussing DU's failings, and it made me realize that it's release is what truly cements FF as the Flopping, Fraudulent Queen of HSR:
Since they nerfed meta paths, and the changes they made as a result of these nerfs forced several paths to tilt towards break, all as a way to sell her further, she defrauded of us a 3rd, consecutive iteration of a great Simulated Universe expansion.
And disregarding blessing & path alterations, the rest of DU content is a falls flat on its face when compared to GNG and SD's systems: Its Rng layered on top of RNG, and the actual mechanics to redress said RNG, escapades and Overwrite, are also layered behind RNG too! features like "you can change any character!" didn't even affect the average player's habits, which is to just stick their strongest team archetype and get synergizing blessings, and if they are forced to swap out their team, well by that point, their run is already fucked, since "adapting" in this gamemode is already hard enough with the overabundance of RNG.
Truly, Fireshine Fullfly will never relinquish her title, for the rest of HSR's lifespan.

in the previous moc cycle i did 3* clear with boothill 1st half and firefly 2nd half, both are e0s0 and no ruan mei. the difference was wild, boothill without rm was still really strong while firefly without rm felt really mid and really hard to manage to make sure that she can have the most turn when enemies are broken before her ult runs out.

Remember when i got attacked brutally because I still and will forever believe that Firefly is barely anything without her racoon and her dedicated supports, but boothill can be played in so many teams and if he got a dedicated racoon, dedicated support and dedicated physical gallagher, hed be so much better.
What main team comp do you run Boothill with? I'm deciding to pull Feixiao or Boothill.

It's worse to use Bronya early match because if there's no mobs u can't build up stacks as fast so here hmc and Gallagher are the main toughness reduction for the first stack

Idk what's going on with the breaker dps debate, I have them both and both of them pop off the same way in their respective best situations.
Boothill does high damage on full stacks which means his only problem is the startup, if there's an elite with no phys/fire his damage will drop pretty significantly since the only break sustain we have atm is Galla.
FF does good damage but you don't have to think too much about stack building.

I wonder how Lingsha will affect Boot & FF damage in the future if she can really break every element and reduce break bar efficiently then Boothills gameplay will be a lot more comfortable for sure, if that's the case then Boothill will definitely be the better break DPS.
Lingsha would at the very least be a slightly better Gallagher, but I don't think that makes it worth the pulls, at least you now have 2 Gallaghers now 🤷

@@XolzeTelosShe isn't in my opinion if you do the damage calculations. The screenshot damage isn't there but the damage per cycle from e0s0 surpasses even Acheron at the same level assuming we are taking both Jiaoqiu and Pela which is her best setup that hasn't even been released yet.

Calcs are terrible simulations, they don't take into account perfect gameplay and optimization opportunities. Idc whether it's dmg per screenshot or cycle, whoever 0 cycles at the lowest cost is strongest.

@@simonditomasso9868 Outside of zero cycles, it is irrelevant to discuss unit strength, 3* clears are far too easy, warpless accounts have been doing it since v1.0.
There should only be 2 groups of people, casual players that don't care about meta and just play whoever they like, still 3* clearing, they should never discuss meta if they choose that path. Then we have hardcore players that care about who perform the best and who have the highest ceiling. I don't mind either group, but if someone who is obviously a casual and don't even care about 0 cycle comments on meta, that's when I have a problem with them.

Boothill base speed is like 107 right, 12% of that is pretty much 12 since they never round up and you can't see decimals.

That's because Boothill without sig is basically using no lightcone, no hunt LC has break afterall, this run is still much harder because no Ruan Mei.

e1 FF with bronya does not work lol. Your team comp would either be lacking HMC, pela, or gallagher. In reality the only slot you can really afford to lose here is pela.

I don't understand what these showcases are trying to prove. You are highly optimizing your runs for 0-cycles by using Advance Forward mechanics just to abuse the 150 AV cycle. I'm sure a lot of DPS characters can shine and 0-cycle under the right circumstances (stage design is enemies as well as buffs) if you give them so many turns. Some will have more "cost" than others but that's only normal when the top tier supports will have varying synergies with the DPS.
I mean whoever has the best synergies will do the highest damage, hence be the strongest DPS no? That's the whole point lmao, you say you don't get it but you kinda do.
Nah I don't even know what I would accept as the criteria for strongest DPS myself. The highest damage DPS unit is pretty obvious but modes like MoC and AS (somewhat) just show how much better prioritizing more turns is, and because of how much amp there is from supports everyone ends up looking good.
I think this metric only holds substance if it is tracked and avg'd for many MoCs or even AS scores too now to show true versatility.
@@Kaostanza I've been tracking low cost clears for a while now, Seele 1 cost clears every single MoC except the 2 choirs. Acheron can clear 5 MoC at 1 cost since her release, can't do Aventurine, Sam and Argenti (trotterless), those are at 2 cost.
AS is terrible for judging DPS because you'll always have 4 best teams, most cost efficient side 1, lowest AV side 1, most cost efficient side 2, lowest AV side 2. Even with 4 teams, Firefly fit into none btw.
