И надо понимать, что России не обязательно в Белоруссии выступать под «чужим флагом», Белоруссия и еще ряд постсоветских государств входят в оборонительный альянс «ОДКБ» - коллективной безопасности. А Зеленский своей курской авантюрой, когда напал на международно признанную территорию России, а не на ту, которую признает только Россия и ее союзники, по сути сменил статус Украины как «жертвы» на статус агрессора и дал России полное право применить договоренности «ОДКБ» по привлечению союзников и спокойно использовать территорию союзников для прохода своих войск. Это я все к тому, что вся курская авантюра Зеленского изначально преследовала только политический пиар, никакой военной выгоды не несет. They're probably trying to avoid civilian casualties. In spite of Kursk offensive, there's still no reason to rush just yet. Besides the Ukrainian east is collapsing which is much more important than the PR stunt.
The issue with F16s is like the Abrams tank. They add only marginal combat benefit because of the low numbers, inadequate training, limited infrastructure. However, in contrast, are a great liability in public relations when they are destroyed. They are only sent to Ukraine because of a frenzy of media attention and not because professional Western military sources are keen to have them used in subpar circumstances.

MILITARY TUBE TODAY - Finally, Russian harsh retaliation has come! This morning, August 26, 2024, the Russian Armed Forces launched a massive thunderous strike across Ukraine with high-precision weapons against critical energy infrastructure that ensures the operation of the complex, the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation said. According to preliminary estimates, more than 60 missiles and 100 drones were used in the strike on the map of Ukraine territory for two hours. Russia has long since stopped carrying out missile and drone strikes, which were so massive and dense in many cities - in some places they are already rumbling again. There is almost no air defense work in the attack area, and it seems that most of the air defense has been withdrawn to the borders of the Kursk region.
Videos are circulating on the Internet filmed by local residents, at least one missile arriving at the Kiev hydroelectric power station. The water supply in Zhitomir has been completely stopped after a strike at an electricity distribution station. The Usatovo substation, an important electricity distribution center in the Odessa region, was burned down - four arrivals were recorded and thick smoke was seen rising, causing a power outage. In addition, at least 30 trucks were burned down as a result of shooting at a motor transport company near Odessa. Many regions of Ukraine are experiencing widespread power outages, railway infrastructure is down, and water supplies are also cut off. The list of targets will be long, and there is no rush to conclusions!

Zelenskyy is in a very difficult position . He knows that ultimately Ukraine will lose and all those lives wasted for nothing .
Russia's arms industry should provide cheaply produced disposable drones that travel in a specific area using geo-fences and automatically attack any source of heat. No more complex radio connection for control. These drones only need to have a heat-seeking sensor and must be as cheap to produce as possible in order to be able to produce them in overwhelming quantities. Using this loitering drone must be as simple and natural as using hand grenades.
Such would have to often return to a base, and could not be kamikaze. Perhaps Lancets (not so cheap) do that already?

The Russians are working on a better solution. They are putting AI in their drones, so the drones can identify certain targets (tanks, missle launchers, artillery) and then attack, not only in single attackes, but in swarm attacks. No need for communication to base, and they can simply return by themselves if they don't see a target.
