when i first came here, i couldnt keep up with normal speed. But now, i can understand at 2x speed! i didnt think i could improve but these videos helped me a lot, to gauge what i could and couldnt do, and to learn keigo and vocab. Thanks benjiro san, wherever u are i hope your doing great!
Conversations like these are probably the most helpful tool for beginners. Much more useful than exclusively studying textbooks and flash cards, since input is more important than output really.
I can't believe I can understand almost everything what they are saying even though I only self studied for four months. It's really perfect for listening practice for beginners.
I don't know why i keep smiling watching this. Maybe becoz the two of you are smiling also. Please do more videos. I am your new subs, wish i knew earlier. I am going to watch another videos, i hope this channel grow and more people get advantage of these. Arigatou gozaimashita Benjiro Sensei.
Thank you Benjiro for making excellent quality videos. A lot of dedication. I understand this has taken a lot of time producing them and that you've had to focus on other important things. I have enjoyed them so much. They have helped me tremendously as I am learning the language again.
Pretty happy I’ve came back to this video after a year of no study and somehow can understand it way better than before! I did just finish a core 1k deck on anki as my first study of the year but other than that somehow my comprehension has improved so yay
Wow, really so entertaining and helpful! I have been self-learning Japanese since lockdown (around March of this year) and this is so helpful!! I understand the basics and I learn new stuff every step of the way! Thanks again man, keep up the great work!
Really nice live videos. Thanks to everyone for uploading. These daily life videos teach better Japanese better than ready books or listening to audios, podcasts.. I wish I could have known earlier. Anyway Better late than never.
Very good material, way better than many other resources. I just wanna reach already the stage where I can understand some jp shows and movies, just enough to fill in the blanks. There are a lot of shows that don't get subbed.
I'm still at the early phase of a beginner level japanese but I'm so happy that I could understand about 50% of what are being said in this video. It's so good that you can acknowledge progress, makes me more fired up to learn more. Thank you to the person who runs this channel, I hope you can post more videos like this and hopefully put a complete subtitles in them, I'd be happy to make some donation for that
I'm coming back to watch this video to see my progress and i'm proud to say i understand 95% of what being said. It's just incredible to notice improvements after a mere 2 months. Ureshiii desu ne
Very helpful. Thanks to the video, I realized that I began to understand Japanese much better. It's still a very bad result, since a lot of time has passed, but better than nothing!
Thank you so much for make this, really help for me teach my student with kaiwa renshuu topic. I hope i can get the kaiwa script. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu 🙏
I enjoyed watching their conversation, simple yet educational for Nihonggo learners. I hope to watch more videos, but I think that Benjiroさん has stop uploading new ones. Nevertheless, thank you so much for uploading these videos because they are very helpful. Stay safe.
Just want to say big thanks for these video's, its really helping me (and i think other's too) to be good at Japanese. These video really usefull and funny(especially when you start talking about washlet's xD) 👍
I think it'd be great if other learners/teachers did this same kind of thing, since you've moved on to focusing on teaching. I'd like to try it out when my Japanese is better.
These vids are super helpful - right about my "i+1" level. Have found I'm retaining new vocab from these much better than months of textbook study :o thanks for posting them!
I know this is months later, but he is saying "Italki" the name of the website where you can talk to people to learn languages. The next question Benjiro asks is "Did you begin using Italki this year?" Edit: Spelling
Hello Benjiro, do you recommend watching the same video multiple times until you know it 100% for listening practice before moving onto the next video to build up listening comprehension? I am debating whether to binge watch your videos or stick with one before I move on to the next. Any answer will help, thank you very much. .
Either works. It's not like these vids were sequenced by difficulty or anything. There's a lot of the same grammatical structures amongst all the vids, yet some are harder, some are easier (usually due to there being more random vocabulary + speed of speech). I would just play them at random.
Thank you for answering, I really look forward to your channel growing. Your channel is very unique and great for beginners like myself because this is the first time I can understand 90% of what is being said. Please keep it up 👌
The Japanese guy seems to hesitate a bit while speaking. I wonder if that's because he struggles a little when simplifying his language to make it appropriate for a beginner's level.
