Episode 3 of Pianta Village sees the place covered in molten magma and Shadow Mario runs off with FLUDD. Your job is to find a way to it and to rescue the village mayor. It’s a tough one and you’re bound to at least attempt some daring jumps over the lava to try to beat the system. This will mostly lead to a whole lot of pain for Mario and a quick burn through of his lives. However, you can follow along with the video to see exactly where you need to go to complete the Shine Sprite.

Ah yes, lets throw the player in with no fludd pack and have him bombarded by enemies first thing even though they don’t know what to do. Great level design.

This level is the bane of my existence. Took me over half an hour trying all the exploits and trying to backflip while dodging the lava, which was'nt easy. I eventually did it though. I hope there isn't another level in the game like this, it can sod off if there is.

I did pianta 3 in less than 8 minutes. And thus is my first time running sunshine ever.

I found a skip that you can use the water from the river to remove goop and do a long jump to the island where the mayor is
If Luigi were in Super Mario Sunshine, AFTER Mario COMPLETED the whole game, HE’D’VE to say: "Hey, bro! You saved Princess Peach from Bowser? Good for you! Well done!"

Anyone watching and trying to beat it go to the water pond that follows the stream and jump out of the water, water will fall off your body and take out some fire and repeat it until you have a close enough distance to do somersault lunge jump and you’ll beat it easy
I tried doing it that exact way before I watched this video but I didn't dive in mid air so now I feel like an idiot
I did the exact same thing first try
That's a very slow way. I just take damage and jump dive.
I didn't climb the tree at the end I just back flipped and jetpacked up to the gold mushroom. It's tricky but possible.

@@XShmoke You get the hover nozzle back on the platform with the gold mushroom. You can even see it in the video

There's a much faster way of bearing this level so at 0:48 where the river is follow it as far as you can and all you do is jump near the goop and the water will splash onto it so you can eventually make a safe passage to the star it only takes a minute I beat this level in 2 minutes bc of it

I always go to that big tree and dive down from the leaf and toward the mushroom. As an additional measure I clean the entire Village of the goop.
The easiest way to do this level is swim all the way up the river. Then when you get out of the river, you will drip a little wash some lava away. Do that enough times to create a notch in the lava that you can walk on. Then spin jump over the last remaining lava. Completed in

This is the way I first cleared the level as a kid, as I had no idea at first you were meant to go via the underground-section on the hanging cage parts, ahaha!

This helped a lot. I tried the easy way but I kept failing. Thanks for the help.
I noticed this to be only time to not be either before FLUDD’s introduction or a secret linear obstacle course challenge in which Mario is seen without FLUDD. I sometimes wonder why they couldn’t do more stages like this. I like FLUDD but why not mix and match being with FLUDD and being without FLUDD.
It was hard because at the mushrooms killed me because I fell

I just went in the river and then kept spin jumping to create a path
I needed a guide to beat this level as a kid, but seeing the intended route, y'all are complaining a lot damn harder than you need to. Is it out of the way? Yeah, but it's not stupidly challenging. Chill out a bit, we've had the game for over 20 years now.
Lmao just go in the stream, splash water on the goop by running back and forth between the stream and goop and u can triple jump right onto the island that ur jet back is on, major shortcut
Why did I walk on the rail to the left side, take the underground to platform close-ish to goal, then narrowly backflipped across the lava landing on the edge… i made it so much harder for myself lmao

How do I hit the wall to make it start moving like that
press B to hit the wall. and you'll see mario violating physical law
To me the easiest way is to go into the river and make Mario have water on himself and start throwing the water

Wow that was a terrible level and I even managed to complete it the wrong way if you push up on the walls that move forward you end up on top of the grate so you can just walk and jump the rest of the way.
