Funnily enough the person playing the warden said they we're going along with the bit because it was funny. And indeed it was funny. On BPL14 theres a rule of "yes and" which basically says that you should try to work with peoples nonsense for the sake of a more interesting round. To that end "allowing" themselves to be kidnapped and then releasing the DNA scrambled Newbern led to one of the most entertaining rounds I had the pleasure of being a part of.
