Dude, you missed a big landmark. No Bronco Bowl? If you grew up in Dallas and especially Oak Cliff in the 60's and 70's, Bronco Bowl was where you were if you weren't in school or staying home. Otherwise, this is a great video. I'm not living in Dallas anymore. But I still get hungry when I think of Charco Broiler on Jefferson St.
Charcoal Broiler is ageless. Also, the Burger King on west Davis, just past Hampton was where I had my first whopper in the early 60's. Would you believe that place is still there frying up burgers?
Thanks! I did a vid on JFK some years back and one over on my friends channel called Lamont at large. Appreciate you watching. I have quite a few of these style vids on my playlist called insane on the road or chef documentary playlist on my main page
My Grandmother lived there in the late fifties until 1971 across the street from Judge Richburgs court in Oak Cliff.
Judge Richburg. I haven't heard that name in decades.
Omg!!! I delivered employment guide there for 20yrs. I felt like I was back on route. Dejavu!!
When I went to LA I was like “bro this looks like Jefferson Blvd” 😂 needs palm trees and lots of traffic and it’ll look like LA
Bro no cap i was in LA not long ago i was like this look like Marsalis&Colorado
Seriously from Los Angeles, had to stop the videos and make sure this was Dallas lol
Thanks for the tour, I enjoyed it.

Enjoyed the tour Chef 👍
Thanks for sharing 😁
Loved it. Hello Mrs. Chef 👋
At 1:40, you are traveling south on Hampton Road and crossing the bridge over I-30, correct?
Does anybody remember Polar Bear Ice Cream shops? In the 60's it was 6 cents a dip.

Enjoyed your video, you should take us to where abouts Lee H. O. Used to live, also too, where JFK was assassinated.
