    Thanks for the video. Two things I have learned; First is to load the food into the fridge while it is in the vehicle. These 12-volt units are bears to move around, doubly so when it's loaded. The second is to keep your beverages in a camp cooler with ice. The amount of energy in a 20 lb bag of ice is amazing, take advantage of it. Even when melted the swill will keep your drinks chilled. For trips up to for or five days between ice purchase opportunities, this works well and preserves room in the electric cooler. For trips over that duration, I forgo beer and make ice in small trays for cocktails.

      Great advice Pete! At this point most folks have a decent cooler and the still work very well! Beverages can get away with fluctuating temps as well, not the end of the world. You don't want all of your groceries fluctuating though, this is where the fridge becomes even more applicable. We will sometimes transition cans from the cooler to the fridge as space opens up, this helps keep the fridge full and as efficient as possible.

    Useful information, thanks! I was doing ⅔ already but the lower temperature while driving was a new one for me and will now be S.O.P.

    Another tip - keep the fridge as full as you can. A full fridge will lessen the number of compressor cycles over a given period of time thus reducing surge load on the battery.

    How do I clean my fridge...it has a really bad smell from spilt milk that's gone down the sides

      National Luna suggests a mild detergent, like dish soap, and wet cloth. If the fridge hasn't been dried in a warm dry location, that's the second step after wiping out the interior of the fridge. Moisture needs to be eliminated to get rid of mold and smells. Put a container of baking powder in there for a short period of time to help with the smell. Or, similar to trying a phone, put an open container of rice in there to pull the moisture from the interior. Better yet, save some of the little desiccant pouches from various packaging and put them in the fridge.

      How do I clear alarms

    • @Equipt1
      @Equipt1  9 месяцев назад

      @@sbusisomsomi7809 There are no alarms built into the fridge. If you're referring to a fault code within the flashing fault light, the fridge can be disconnected from power to clear the fault. If the fault persists, the issue likely still persists. Reach out if you're having fault like problems, sales@equipt1.com.

    Imagine my NL fridge had a simply rotary switch to often adjust the temperature. What maintenance does my 20 year old NL fridge need?

      If its working, I wouldn't mess with it. You could possibly have a refrigeration specialist evacuate it and recharge it but we should make sure it's the same refrigerant. I wouldn't bother with that unless it's not cooling like it should.

    Hey there. My fridge is not cooling at all, it turns on and the fan is going but it will not cool. Any advice?
