    • @piqo44
      @piqo44 2 месяца назад +4

      No she doesn't. Pliskova has more aces in 2024. Last year it was Garcia with the most aces, she is 2nd after Rybakina but she played so far only 13 matches comparing to 20 of Rybakina. Their matches/aces ratio is 105/13= 8, 128/20=6.5 so Garcia has on average 8 aces per match, Rybakina 6.5. Garcia is already significantly better in terms of aces per match and Sabalenka, Zheng are very close to Rybakina as they have 6 aces per match.
      In terms of 1st Srv Pts% they are many better. Osaka, Zheng, Sabalenka. In particular, this tournament doesn't showcases her peak serve ability, if not for her weak serve she would have won easier instead of struggling through 3 sets in 3 out of 4 matches against lower ranked players.

    • @piqo44
      @piqo44 2 месяца назад +1

      @@demigod1013 Explain precisely the way you measured that Rybakina's serve is the most unreturnable in whole WTA so that it's clear that is not just your biased feeling and you can prove you bold claim. At Miami even girls outside top 50 had no problem returning her balls. WTA 92 Tauson break Rybakina 5 times, WTA 70 Townsted break her 2 times, Keys break her once, Sakkari break her 3 times. Everyone in every match was able to break her, i have seen much better serving players than Rybakina at Miami this year. Sabalenka had great serve at AO, Swiatek at Doha and Indian Wells, just check their stats and compare with Rybakina's.

    I have not seen Rybakina this upset even in a losing match. I think she was upset because she knows that this title is practically hers to take (with Swiatek and Sabalenka out of this tournament). As a player, it is a lot more frustrating if you lose because you play like crap, compared to losing because the opponent played way better than you. Rybanika's backhand was not working at all today, and she has no feel at the net.

    I thought Rybakina was supposed to be good at tiebreaks. Every time I see her in a tiebreak this year she loses it

      You'd think that with a serve as big as hers, she'd have a stranglehold on tiebreaks, but you're right - she's 1-5 in tiebreaks this year, her only set won against Frech. I don't know if it's nerves or what, but that's something she has to work on if she wants to challenge for number one/more slams.

    Classy in victory and no grunting. No ugly gesticulations, give me more of Rybakina. In my eyes she's any day better than serena gauff sabalenka sharapova or sakkari

      You need to take Serena out of that. She is in a league of her own and everyone knows that.

    Great match ... but ... both players have their problems with "big points". Maybe the focus gets a little bit down ... or whatever it is ... on the last game Elena finally found her usually good service in this tournament. Anyhow ... both are playing really good at the moment.

    Elena never smiles at opponents after a victory, what a style! Gredit to Maria, tough match. Elena has got way too many tough players on her plate this time to win Miami final. Still, she so cool and elegant.
