8:20 It is actually due to inventory walk checks, he opened his inventory, and move the helmet, but since he was moving the helmet, the server assumes he is in his inventory, but actually it is already closed, after that he walked, which to the server, looks like he walked while he was in inventories. Which is what caused the ban.

@@Mari-ii8mn for killing mobs 6 reach is max and doesn't flag at all, I think blocks have some reach checks and flag npcs do not have any reach checks and you can click them from anywhere in the lobby as long as it's rendered. I was technically correct but reach in some stuff flags but doesn't insta ban

This made me remember that time i found and got banned on a skyblock server for pocket edition years ago, I think i got banned because of selling 10 diamonds even though I was a beginner, and maybe because i basically just informed the admins by bragging in the chat
Explanation:
The server had that feature where the cobblestone generator has a chance to generate ores.
Though idk how it broke but i accidentally broke my cobblestone generator and the lava flowed down as well as the water, generating cobblestones and ores as they flowed down into the void and it also genersted quite a bit of diamond ores.

As for 11:40, bedwars has this 10 second "freeze" period in which if you did something that shouldn't be possible, will ban you straight away, like breaking beds, getting diamonds or emeralds. This was to prevent fly/teleport exploits from being too powerful even if they were found. But the devs didn't think it was possible to get diamonds under 10s so 💀

I feel watchdog needs both a suspicious action flag where the suspect actions are logged and flagged to admin and high probability hack (Current system) and if they have repeated suspect actions they also ban

I think that with flameofwar, watchdog might have thought he was armor stacking with the fd. The swapping to wither goggles from fd helm while crouching still gives you the +100% damage buff from vivacious darkness for about a second, so when he went to kill the endermans, watchdog saw the damage numbers and went “wtf” and the only way that it might have thought it could happen was with armor stacking.
I'd agree, but Hypixel likely has no way to detect that, and people stack armor in other ways all the time, but that is the goal of the armor swap. My assumption is either an auto armor flag or hypixel thought my inventory was open.

The guy who got banned for "grapling hook" It really isnt the grapple and heres why. In 2019 watchdog used the bann message "WATCHDOG CHEAT DETECTION" The ban reason was a staff ban.
Then was the spoon made him AFK
then the streamer who got banned for swapping their helmet was manually banned, which makes no sense

I once got banned for leaving my computer on for 15 minutes to go talk to my friend on my doorstep, I heard the iconic banned noise and my unban got REJECTED
i dont have much documentary here but when hypixel was down in lockdown and the first hour it opened, watchdog was like "stop right there you gamer"
I usually play on foxcraft and I was strip mining for a good hour and 40 mins when I finally struck diamonds, after the search being unreasonably long I got banned for X-ray. The admin that banned me said that I was mining for 5 mins and dodged every other ore but the diamonds, and I replied saying how could I cave dodged ores in a strip mine. The only answer I got from him was the simple phrase “x-ray”

He didn't activate any hack or so, he just messed with the custom features it had. Especially with the next: Headless. Actually 2 years ago when the big 6k ban wave happened 6 ppl got false banned 4 from bedwars players and 2 from skyblock i was 1 of 2 that got banned even tho i got insta unban it still pain becuz at the time i was happy getting strong drag armor idk how even that counted as boosting

I lost my computer and had a 6 year hiatus from Minecraft as a whole. I a computer that could run Minecraft and was so ecstatic to get back to Hypixel, so I tried to log on, only to find out that I have been Permanently Banned, there was no reason provided ANYWHERE. So I tried to appeal and I asked what the reason. Where I went wrong was stating that I had a hacked client for the anarchy servers I played on and that I never used them nor planned too on Hypixel. They denied my appeal, gave no reason for the original ban. Then I tried to log in and they said I hacked. 6 years later AFTER I stupidly stated that I had a client on my computer. I only played the house stuff so there wouldn't even be a reason to use a client 😭

Not only should ceo thought of how unfair it would have been for him to play on hypixel on bedrock but ALSO you only need to pay for BARELY half the price to play pocket edition which is $6.99 USD compared to java editions cost which is $29.99 USD like holy man that is an insane difference and not only that but people most likely got maybe the optifine cape or maybe paid for cosmetics in their client which adds EVEN MORE money AND they ALSO probably paid for maybe mvp++ or some other sort of rank so the worst it could be is 50 dollars for mvp+ and idk how much mvp++ but I know it's a subscription monthly and it's gotta be a lotta money too.

One of my guild members got wiped and banned for being too rich during the recent dupe which caused the bazaar and ah too shut down.
That's justified. People who make profit off dupes should be banned.
@@ambikas79 He didn't break any rules, he's a bz flipper and ah fllipper. He takes advantages of crashes and he didnt know that it was a dupe he tried to buy them as prices where low and boom he gets banned for 90 days.

Banned for hacking while I didn't even know how to install a texture pack. Not by watchdog either. One of the biggest compliments I've gotten so far :)
i play through pojav launcher because at least it runs the native code rather than having to translate everything, basically playing literally the same game that works the same way, just on different hardware (but it's still kinda laggy on weaker pcs), java is literally it's own vitual machine
using bedrock edition versions is completely different and messes up client-server connection

I got banned for spinning in circles on the highest dpi setting and placing blocks. Listen, I get it fan look suspicious, but my movements were completely random and they denied my appeal in like 5 hours!

i had an unfair ban like 4 months ago i cant really remember the date but it also wasnt on hypixel it was on this server called bedwars practice club with games like wool wars and like bedwars 1v1s so basically i decided to get on the leaderboards for a specific 1v1 type called bow fight where u have inf arrows and a punch 1 or 2 bow and u try to knock them off the platform and when i was top 3 i got banned for unfair advantages alot of my friends and online people thought it was because I was bow boosting making it seem like i was bhopping and i would usually fight really salty people saying ur trash cheater hacker and reported and when i ban appealed they just flat out denied it and i was banned on that server for a month
edit: I forgot to mention i was watching alot of ricefarmer so i kind of copied his strats ik its cring to copy someone

My old minecraft account (MONSTERIAUTO) was actually banned from hypixel 8 years ago I believe, this number might be wrong due to me being so young at the time. The account was banned permanently because my older brother wanted to try hacks. Because of him, I was delayed on becoming good at pvp and only got to feel the experience of hypixel skyblock half a year ago when I bought myself a new account (after being declined an unban, probably for a common fake reason, which was my actual reason.) This small thing years ago set me back on becoming one of the best minecraft players.
Btw my brother hacked on multiple servers and also got a ban from mineplex for 5 years I think, that ban ended a year ago.. Other bans like hive also happened, but those don't have long ban times, max a month I believe..
