Thank you so much for this video, can also confirm it works. We had a corroded positive battery terminal and a completely flat battery, so we were locked out of the boot until we did what this video showed us!
One word of warning - the central locking won't work until you put the wiring module back in place behind the glove box. We almost locked ourselves out a second time!

Thank you for this video ❤ It worked for me, but to connect to the green grey wire, I used a paperclip in the socket opposite, on the back of the module, to get an electrical connection to the wire - just count along from the marked number 1, until you get to twelve and you should be opposite the right wire. Then I connected the power supply cable to the paperclip and it worked. Thanks again for this video, you saved my car from the scrapyard, so hugely grateful for you showing how to do this.

Thanks a lot for posting this Bro, disconnected my battery completely and accidentally shut the boot. I don't have a ski hatch, saved me from having to remove the seats or damaging the armrest area.

Didn't work at first. The solenoid just kept clicking. Then I had someone apply the power, while I pulled up on the trunk release at the same time. Worked!!!. Thanks so much.

Ehm, under the hood there's also a 12v connector (red plastic cap). Much easier and the official way.

Man! If you have access to the glove box, you have also access to the engine bay where you can find positive connector. Save your time!

Are you just using a 12V Battery? Can I use the new battery that I got for my car to do this? Are you just using jumper cables and the attaching the negative end to your "spike" to power the pin connector? Thank you!

This is an emergency way of opening in case the battery is disconnected with boot lid closed or positive wire corroded so there’s no circuit with terminal under the bonnet. Anyway thanks for your comment 👍
