It's been winter for the last few few months in Cape Town SA, and I have just got into mountain biking. Been watching MTB videos the whole winter now, and when I finally got on the bike for the first time the other day (as its summer now.) I realized that I, by watching vids like this, have become pretty good :)
They are really lucky to be able to ride all the time like that... I have my downhill bike my street/dirt jumper but never get to go to places like that to jump and do tricks
I see most you guys are using hard-tails for all the backyard fun. i just got a karakoram and im going to be modding shortly. whats you're guys bike spec outs for the backyard riding ? whats a good minimum parts list , a theme if you will ? mjs1231

They are called Dirt jumpers, there are kinda like a BMX but they have 26'' tires on em, and they have a shock absorber in the front ;)
