Not to sound like that guy, but I’m really not surprised if you watched the Vlogs back when he was on supermini’s. The skill level at the top is really close, but the kid has always had the mentality to win and is ultra competitive, and those are the qualities it takes to crush your competitors at the top.

with jett i’m not surprised at anything he does, with haiden it’s different because i didn’t grow up watching him as a kid(i’m 20), i only started watching him like 2 or 3 ish years ago, the progression has been unreal, hope his style translates more to sx also, so he can win that title too

It blows my mind when people say “they didn’t know” he’d be this good. THEY LITERALLY DOCUMENTED THE WHOLE PROCESS. They documented all the work, all practice, travel, training the gave all of us the road map. He was literally a monster as a mini rider. How could you say you didn’t know he was going to be this good😂.

I had no doubt in Deegs ability. People online said he's going to be another Mike Allisse and I would say he's going to win races not in SX but in MX he is going to win in his first year and won 2 races and SMX Championship. I've been following mx since 73 and sx since 77 and Deegs since he was 10 and I can pick a winner and I knew since the first day I watched him do a back flip I started following him. My thoughts were this kid is going to be a championship rider at a young age when he goes pro.

following the Deegan channel since Haiden did the back flip. i saw him sporadically get into beast mode in races... because we got see all the races it was easy to see when he got turned on. But he couldn't consistently bring it and definitely not on demand. But he always rode hard. What we're seeing now is him having learned how to control it like a superhero learning how to use his powers and I don't think he's close to peaking (bar injury) It has been a lot of fun to watch his progression.

Again, you're wrong. The last 3 years of the 450 class has never been so weak. The 450's of RC & Prime Stewart era were way more powerful & brutal. The tracks were also WAAAAAY faster as they weren't tilled as deep. The deep tilling they started doing was to slow them down. It also ruins race quality as there are only a few lines. As far as Deegam, I'm a fan 100% but he hasn't even gotten to the 450 class yet. I think he's gonna be one of the top dudes when he does though. But to think these guys (as a group) are faster than the guys of years past, you're dead wring on that. Prime Stewart, Villipoto & Tomac smoke the Lawrence boys & Sexton. Prime RC smokes them ALL & twice on Saturdays.

I think we have to sit here and slow down with deegan. Jett had an injury, learned from it and came back to put a terror on people. He stayed relatively injury free for a while and for as fast as these two are that’s rare. Forkner and AC were supposed to be generational but injuries caught them. All I’m saying is wait for the accomplishments to come and don’t expect them. I see Jett being able to beat Ricky’s all time wins in motocross and pass tomac up for second all time wins in SX but it’s a lot of years and racing to go.
