The warsaw pact is lucky that the blight didnt run rampant in their territory and aimed at the west which gave them the advantage as NATO scrambled for a proper defence
Ikr? As a matter of fact the polar opposite would've happened, NATO and the Warsaw pact would've immideatly joined forces to contain the blight realistically speaking.
Even in real life they combined forces over even more minor issues.
Things were heated but not *that* heated, it's why it's literally called the ***cold*** war.
Also fun fact, the first dog who was sent to space by the Soviets was named Laika (i think) and when she returned to earth she had puppies, one of which was sent to the U.S as a gift, the more you know ❤😂
Edit: it wasn't Laikas direct descendant, but it was the same Soviet Space program who sent the puppy to the U.S, had to search to know if i was right or not

My take on why the Blight couldn't enter the Swiss is because the Swiss probally knew about the blight, Blew Up all the Bridges leading to the nation and immediatly fortified the Mountains so that's why the Blight wasn't able to enter Swiss territory

In 2052, the First Fully Functioning Bases are made on Mars and not only did the Terraformation of Mars began, Earth also began to heal! For 1000 years (3052) everything went fine As the Earth and Mars were Divided by Languages, 60% of Earth's and Mars' Population is Atheist while the 40% is still Religous, mostly Buddhists and Hinduists. Not only that, the Humans on Mars looked different than those on Earth, they were taller and Etc. However, the Martian Humans wanted to be independent from the Humans on Earth, which led to a Violent Civil war on Both planets, scarring them both deeply, 50% of Earth's (10 Billion before the war and now only 5 Billion after the war) and Mars' (5 Billion before the War and now only 2.5 Billion after the war) Population were dead, and whilst they tried to recover, the Blight saw an Oppurtunity and manifested in both planets.
I think he already did the Barbarossa one, but nice ideas btw!
