Picked these up on super sale too. First thing that jumped out to me is the step in comfort. Still in the break in process, but these have felt fantastic, to me much better than the 20's.
@@KIM111484 Well It picks up dust and sratches easy, and it will not be shiny all the time. But other then that, feels amazing. I had hard brake in process, but skipping second loops helps alot.
I just returned a pair of the LeBron 21 "Tahitian's" super cool looking shoes. Beware the steal eyelets at the top of the shoe gave me bad blisters on the inside of my ankles. Please try them on first to make sure. A friend also bough a pair and complained as well. He said it took about 5 runs to break in. I'm to old for that. Recommend the Curry 24 Splash Jam & the Puma Soot Pro Nitro. You can just put these on a nd ball with no break in required. Those are my type of shoe !
I am experiencing the metal ankle collar lace hole. It’s a nuisance but I twist the tongue inwards and that protects my ankle. Also wearing thicker socks helps. Bad design for sure. Agree with you about the Puma Scoot All Pro Nitro. Fantastic shoe! I need to try the Curry 24 Splash Jam!!!!
I love this hoop shoe and the only problem I have with it is the lace it easily comes off and the upper material easily gets scratch and loses the shiny texture cause it gets stepped on by other players..im a size 13 as well
Very interesting observations! I am sorry about the laces for you. I did not experience it. Yes the uppers do get scuffed really easily, which is a shame. Have you tried to KD16?
@@OldManSneakerReview Fitted it but not to my liking im hooping with AE1 and Harden 8 right now so as serious player 1 and their amazing especially serious player 1 it sticks to the floor like glue and light as hell
Yeah, laces comes off easy, but double knoting helps alot. Never had problems after that + as it is quite a tight shoe, I kept skipping second loop so I can comfortably double do knot

Although the leather model (akoya) is more premium and I like the conchiolin model more aesthetically, in my opinion the best model for performance is the Tahitian, despite the fact that the upper is easily scratched as you say in the video. Tahitian size half a size smaller than the other colors. I am also an older hooper. Congratulations on your videos!

As per these the 21 had the black Tahitian colorway Cheap af. Comfortable, light, good traction but trash material, I don't recommend it if you gunna play on them. If it gets stepped on, scratch leave marks easy 1st time playing on them got stepped on and scratched the material some of the top layer just peeled off not worth it for the price. This is a downgrade from the 20 in terms of material quality and durability...
Book 1 is more spacious in the midfoot. The comfort of a Nike dunk sb, with great lateral support. Initially, the shoe runs short, but with break in, they feel great. The lebron 21 is a performance shoe, so it needs time it breaks in and is springy. They both run true to size!

I did noticed lace comes untied easily, but this seems to be common for me with round laces like these instead of flat laces.

i have extremely wide foot. i didn't like it when i tried in store, but i bought it and will try to skip the 2nd holes hopefully it works out.

I wear a size 13! I also skip the second lace hole to give my mid foot some more space!
This colorway is short for me, i went half size up. Others colorways fits TTS. That is my experience

At TTS, the big toe is just about reaches the end of the toe box, and there is pressure on the big toe metatarsal (MTP joint).
