Is there no way to increase the size of fonts in the menu and submenu items? Not text added to a photo, just the text you need to read in navigating the program?
PhotoScape X does not allow you to increase the font size in their software specifically, but in most operating systems either in Mac or Windows, you will be able to increase your font size across the Entire Computer by going into the settings. What I would encourage you to do would be to look up your operating system in a RUclips search and ask "how to change the font size".
I would uninstall the app and reinstall it. Then I would restart the computer if that doesn’t work. I would also uninstall the free version of Photoscape X just so you’re not accidentally opening the free version instead of your paid version.
PhotoScape x is primarily a photo editor. You can add text, but it’s not a proper software for word processing. My recommendation would be to make the edits necessary in photoScape X and if you need to add a lot of text and I would bring that image as a background into a word processing software.
@@BriNathanCollins thanks for your prompt response, I think the cutoffs may have to do with different size pics in the gifs. Being careful in the height & width selection in Photoscape X helps a little. Is there a way to default size to the largest picture?
there might be a way to bulk crop everything. If not, you’d have to go through each individual image, which wouldn’t be too bad if you end up using that gif a lot.
I'm looking at this on 9/28/23 The most basic thing, Transform, is not available unless you upgrade to pro. I don't mind paying to get advance features but Transform? I can't even crop. 😑
interesting.....i had a computer issue that required me to reinstall windows and of course i had to reinstall photoscape. Then the crop was available. 🤷♀😀
ok -- where is the history? It is fine to work on a project that is basically one that has multiple images that are layers. However, I have not so far found where an individual photo that each individual edit can be accessed and adjusted either during the editing process nor from a saved project file. In viewer, how does one move from an image that has been double "entered" to show basic meta data on the image to that same image without the data showing. Also, it seems that the user is stuck with the data showing in Viewer for subsequent images. Spoiler Alert!!! Tried something and discovered the solution. Double click with the mouse and then double click to open the thumbnail and the meta data will no longer be displayed. I may have missed it but to open an image in the editor whether it is a thumbnail or full screen, using the keyboard use either pressing Shift + Enter simultaneously or Shift and then Enter keeping the shift key depressed. Now for the problem. So far I have not been able to find a method of returning to the viewer tab using any keyboard shortcut. So far, History or lack thereof and keyboard access to viewer are concerns that if anyone has solutions, please post a comment. TIA Another issue I did have was the inability to make the payment to MS Store for the PC version of the Pro PSX but their Help folk finally were able to advise to use the .ca website so as to be able to enter the required data prior to proceeding. No info though about why one could not use Paypal funds but had to go with Cr or Dr card. Don't know if folks in other countries have had the same issue. Use the address of the US but change it to your country and things should work. BTW -- Quick menu is actually pretty good but you can't do masking unless you go to the specific tool location. However many of the quick menu items allow for perfectly good and quick global adjustments. I have been going over a lot of past images edited over the 21 years of travel and being retired and have found either improvements or simply a different way of editing the same image to get a result that is different yet pleasing. Oh, another item that I have not found and maybe it does not exist if the dodge/burn tool which is common on most digital imaging programs. I also don't find any of the transform tools very good at allowing for adjustments of buildings shot with a W/A lens. Affinity Photo and Luminar Ai (particularly) do it simpler and with better results unless perhaps someone has found the right technique using PSX.
You can save your image as a project so you can return to your image for additional editing by using the SAVE button on bottom right of the edit panel. You will then see a SAVE PROJECT option.
Not a complaint but sometimes its not easy to see the mouse or where your pointing, so maybe, here on the right, or bottom left etc not every time, just now and again. The old brain don't work as quick as it use to.

Please please please can you help me? Need to know if this program works with two photos at the same time that you are able to clone from one to the other? Need to get a program that I am able to do that and also fade. I have to do a special request and I have to cut out a pictures and add it to another and I also need to clone from one picture to there other because it’s a memorial and I can’t find a software that does that for me. I used to have a pc and I used to use digital image but the stopped making it so I haven’t had to do this type for a long time. Now I can’t find anything that is friendly user for my Mac
Watch my video on merging photos.
Watch the video on insert tab.
If you need more help email me and I can see about making a video or editing the photos for you: nathan@nathancollins.com
I have upgraded to PRO, but find that "MACRO" is greyed out. No reply from photoscapeteam.... Any advice??
Really? Are you on Mac or PC?
@@BriNathanCollins pc. Was I supposed to receive a license key?
@John Igoe You paid for it on the Microsoft store?
@@BriNathanCollins yes.
I would uninstall the app and reinstall it. Then I would restart the computer if that doesn’t work.
I would also uninstall the free version of Photoscape X just so you’re not accidentally opening the free version instead of your paid version.
How do I increase the dpi of an image in photoscape x?
Resize would increase DpI but images don’t increase dpi if you already opened it in original photo resolution.
How do i edit a document? Loke edit the numbers or words in a document
PhotoScape x is primarily a photo editor. You can add text, but it’s not a proper software for word processing. My recommendation would be to make the edits necessary in photoScape X and if you need to add a lot of text and I would bring that image as a background into a word processing software.
What format is your document in? PDF?
Will photoscape X support mirrorless raw files?
PhotoScape X does support most raw files.
In using PhotoScape X for gifs, I find it often cuts off part of picture. How do I select size so that whole picture will show?
maybe you should make sure that your gif doesn’t go all the way up to the edges and leave some extra room just in case if parts of it gets cut off
@@BriNathanCollins thanks for your prompt response, I think the cutoffs may have to do with different size pics in the gifs. Being careful in the height & width selection in Photoscape X helps a little. Is there a way to default size to the largest picture?
that makes perfect sense!
there might be a way to bulk crop everything.
You should be able to crop in the edit tab without paying for PRO. I’ll check into that.
@@BriNathanCollins well, i just clicked on Transform in the edit menu and I'm blocked
I'd attach a screen shot but i can't here

interesting.....i had a computer issue that required me to reinstall windows and of course i had to reinstall photoscape. Then the crop was available. 🤷♀😀
@doggiedoright1000 very interesting
ok -- where is the history?
TIA
Another issue I did have was the inability to make the payment to MS Store for the PC version of the Pro PSX but their Help folk finally were able to advise to use the .ca website so as to be able to enter the required data prior to proceeding.
That's a lot of good information I'll look it over more and see what I think.
You can save your image as a project so you can return to your image for additional editing by using the SAVE button on bottom right of the edit panel. You will then see a SAVE PROJECT option.
HAY May maroco ❤️
Yep
Great software but it doesn't recognize my GPU :(
That’s odd, thankfully photo editing usually isn’t too intense on a CPU.
This video took a lot of work. let me know if there is anything I could do to improve future videos.
Not a complaint but sometimes its not easy to see the mouse or where your pointing, so maybe, here on the right, or bottom left etc not every time, just now and again. The old brain don't work as quick as it use to.
Thank for the feedback
