    I loved this car since it was introduced. I worked for an Infiniti dealership then and never imagined that I could afford one until I needed to replace my totaled 2015 Ford Fusion Energi. I bought my 2006 M35x with Tech package a few months before this video was made and I paid a little over 10k. I have put some work into it to customize it, like: Infiniti Akeboni big brake kit, strut brace, headers, full exhaust, high flow cats, Uprev tune, and am going to be installing a 2009-2011 sport front bumper for an updated look. I love this car.

    My 2006 m35x has just over 500,000 km and the only "repair" i've done is a wheel bearing, replaced the original battery two years ago, and last year did the exhaust. The only complaint i've had is how often i've had to do the brakes (it goes through them like crazy, partly because it's such a fun car to drive but many the vehicle dynamic controls constantly apply them when the g forces reach a certain limit when cornering.)

    Right now you can get say a 2010 with higher mileage for around $4,000 - $6,500 depending on actual condition and what it may need. That's a whole lot of car for the $$$. I'm thinking about buying this 2010 M35x with 160K on it but in excellent cosmetic & perfect running condition with the technology package and every last thing that came with it when new for $5,000(I think I can get the guy down that low). He's the second owner and bought it from the dealer after a 3 year lease with 50K on it. That's less than one tenth of the sticker price. Even if I only get 100K miles out of it over say a 6 year span I think that's pretty damn good. What do you guys think?

    back seats also recline, are heated and have a control centre for infotainment system and a/c :) you can also set the car to make a noise when you're close to a certain destination (I used to have my 2007 m35x meow whenever I was 200m from home lol) there are actually a ton of easter eggs in this car that you MIGHT find in a new s-class or 5/7 series but comparing 07 m3 to to the 07 m35x they were technologically on two different planets the m3 seemed ancient

I found one...it's a 2006 with only 40,000 miles on it and in mint condition. The guy wants twelve grand for it. He said his friends grandparents owned it and hardly ever drove it. Garage kept. I'm pretty sure it does not have all these amazing tech features..like radar cruise, or speakers in the headrest, so I guess it's the base model. Still an amazing car. Tell me your opinion? This car sold a while back, and was previously owned by elderly people as well. Try to find out what equipment the car has. But, even a base model with low mileage should be at the 10,000 price mark on the high end. I think 12 is a little much.

    I have an '06 Infiniti M35x and it's now parked as it was becoming an endless money pit. These Nissans once they have over 100,000 miles, it's one broken thing after another and parts and labor cost a small fortune. They're fine when they're new, but I'd never buy one used as you're just getting a pile of junk.

      ramari cover In 2006, I didn't regard Infiniti as a top tier luxury brand. More of a mid level, like Acura. I didn't know about this car and its specs. So was kinda blown away. This was right up there hanging with the Germans.

      RevolutionCorsa tbh I was joking I didn't know about the m specs either but I knew that Infiniti was going after BMW so I wasn't to surprise and Infiniti around that time was stepping up their game. Great video thou if the m35 came in a Manual I would definitely buy one.

      agreed......I have an Infinite M35x Black with the Peanut Butter guts......I have had guys walked up to me, asking me to sell it to them......But nope. Went from a I35x put 310,000 on her b4 I gave her away....Next one up was the G35x gave it to my nephew's....I looked high and low for a M35x or M45x....And finally found a one owner M35× that a older gentleman had.....And he took damn good care of it too....The back seat look brand new as if nobody's never rode or sat in the back and so was the front driver and passenger seat as well......My M35x is in excellent excellent condition....Thank God too...Next up is the M37x...Lol

      If not *TOP* tier (in YOUR book), what brands *ARE* top tier? This brand has *ALWAYS* competed head2head w/BMW, yet *MUCH* more luxury. *BMW* while nice, is over hyped. Many BMWs at the same price point don't even have *LEATHER* And your comment about the car looking *OUTDATED* ? lol...This one and the G series have been some of the more distinctive, stylish cars out there. MB lacks in a *HUGE* way in that category in my opinion, but what you said and what I just noted are just that, *OPINIONS* . What you *CAN'T* deny though is, INFINITI is much more car for the money than a BMW, Audi (another over hyped brand) and MB.
      Audi = VW
      INFINITI = Nissan
      Acura = Honda
      The badging *&* the price tag are the only differences.

      I didn't mean it in that way. I meant everybody looks to the Germans for luxury. Yet, here's an Infiniti which offers the luxury on a budget. Infiniti is definitely overlooked. It was really surprising, because even by today's standards it's still ahead.

      I'm looking at a m35 with 115k miles for $8,000 and a g35 sport sedan with 104k miles for $8,500. torn between the both and can't decide which to get. g35 looks a little better on outside as you mention outside on m35 isn't as nice.

    • @RevolutionCorsa
      @RevolutionCorsa  8 лет назад

      Personally, it would depend on the colour scheme of the m35. The colour makes a huge difference. Other than that if features are something you can let go of, g35 is not bad by any means. It won't ride as smooth though.
