According to an announcement on their website, they will give their customers the ETHW they are entitled to. Although this does not appear to have occurred yet.
possibly, because right now there is a lot of selling pressure and when everyone has finished selling it could go up. I've certainly seen it happen with other hard forks before.
when sold will the ethw sold be available on ethpos for example if you sell 1000$ of ethw will you be able to use that on ethpos or will it have to be bridged between the networks ?
@@HaydenOtto thanks for answering!..Is it just possible to wait for ledger to add the network and get it automaticly?..They say they will add the network if proven secure, and I plan to hodl the tokens anyway..cheers!
@@cloudsoil The coins are already on your ETH address. It is just a matter of, will Ledger add support for it in Ledger Live or not. Either way, you can access them right now by simply connecting your Ledger to Metamask. If you plan to keep, I guess you don't really need to do anything right now. Just don't forget they are there.
@@HaydenOtto i had the same question, currently don't have my ledger connected to metamask but if i connect it just to claim eth pow will that create a new metamask account or merge with the one i already created?
If it's on an exchange, like coinbase, you will have to check and see if the exchange is supporting the fork. The balance will then appear in your account. Transferring out will do nothing. Luckily, it seems that many exchange have been adding support for it. And so it's likely coinbase will follow suit.
@@HaydenOtto Sounds good. So when i go to send the ETHW coins from Metamask do i sign the transaction in the ETH App inside of the Ledger? Wont it show up as sending actuall ETH in the ledger and not ETHW?

If you had soETH, wrapped ETH on solana, can you claim ETHW?
How do i swap it for another coin instead? and i think kraken has ETHW now.
You reckon the price will appreciate in time? I have ETH but selling the ethw now is not really worth it

@@HaydenOtto they’re really not ,,

And on Trust wallet ?
Is there risk for replay attack?
No
I was sent some fork-eth from some address but it says it doesn't have a USD value yet? Is it some sort of scam?
It does have USD value on exchanges.
how do i sell on metamask which dex?
So its free money?
Yes, according to many.
I held eth on ledger..how to claim it?
Im not using metamask
Download metamask and then connect your ledger to metamask. Then do what I did in the video. I also had a ledger and used it in this video.

How would i access the coins on a ledger?
Add your ledger accounts to metamask in the Web browser.

@@thias8588 that is correct, use ETH app in ledger. It is all good
@@HaydenOtto Sounds good. It will only send ETHW since thats the network metamask is connected to?
