    I bought this for my mom’s birthday as well as a retirement present. I’m learning how to use the machine so I can surprise her with a cup of coffee

    Very helpful video, I have the same model in blue. However, with my machine, no water or steam comes out. Im pretty sure I’m doing everything correctly but it just doesn’t seem to pull any water through from the tank. Any ideas?

    Thank for the review on the machine.
    I was going to buy one of these, but I've seen several videos now of this & the machine does't seem to produce very good crema. An absolute must for an espresso machine

    Just curious, at coffeeshops the machine chooses the amount of water for the type of coffee, how do you know when to stop the water.

      I found for a cup that's 300 ml size that you need to spoons of coffee. So that works out 1 spoon = 150ml. Imo hope this helps

    Can I ask how much water you use for an espresso.? And can the machine be used for normal cup of coffee???
    Good video as I have very similar machine but I struggle to get the right blend or water coffee.

    • @mgtracey
      @mgtracey  6 месяцев назад +3

      The best way is to buy a specific espresso cup and then fill it to about half an espresso and yeah you can use it for a normal coffee if you need to microwave the milk or use the steamer to froth the milk to add it to an espresso, which will give you a latte

      Under a minute to reheat up. Water tank volume is only thing that slows down multiple pours.

    Hi, nice tutorial. I have a Swan retro pump 15 Bars coffee machine. I bought it about three ya. I have now an issue with the amount of water coming out when I make a coffee and it keeps leaking for a little too long after I turn it off: any suggestions? I will appreciate your help, if you can obviously. Many thanks in advance. I have cleared it regularly.

    • @mgtracey

      @@mgtracey thanks for your reply . I have cleaned it regularly with a specific descaling product also, I forgot to mention that it looks like the temperature stays high ( according to the analog display) long after I have turned the machine off. Should I get a new one? I haven’t been able to find someone able to fix it and, as a Italian man, I NEED my espresso 😂😂. Many thanks again.

    Hi! I got my machine today. Do you know what could be the reason that there is still water in the filter when I take out the handle. Ie the grounds are not dry and compacted like yours when I take it out to clean. It's still very watery.
    Thanks ☕

    • @mgtracey
      @mgtracey  Год назад

      That is how it works so the ground source heat impacted dry when they go in. There is water on top and they are wet when they come out. They’re ready to go straight in your food waste bin.

      Yes you need to heat the milk and froth to the side but not too much. Bang the cup or jug the milks in to remove bubbles and then stir the jug/cup, it's all in the technique. I used to work at Costa:) made many flat whites!!

      The prep is nothing compared to people that love coffee. The prep, or more so the grind and tamper is the most important stage.

    • @lililonga7941
      @lililonga7941 4 месяца назад +1

      You do this for the entire love of fresh ritualistic coffee, otherwise you get a pod machine. 😁 My favourite are the ones that have a been grinder in them all as one, just because I love the sound, freshness and no work :) hehehe but i think once I get my skill up on this it will be wonderful in my routine
