@Ainz Yes he was. UBW is useless against Berserker. UBW can only summon B-tier and below NPs but only A-tier and above NPs can damage Berserker. That's because Berserker's NP "God Hand" nullifies any damage from anything other than A-tier NPs. You can quite literally hit Berserker with the Big Bang and he won't even get scratched.

Not gonna lie when I first saw this seen I was nearly hypnotised by the sheer balls on archer, I wasn't entirely familiar with certain servants but I still could appreciate an archer servants choosing to 1v1 the greek demigod of strength who can come back from the dead, be resistant to damage that killed him and HAS PROTECTION FROM ARROWS is just epic.
I liked how he used his words to attack. a wordsmith. fate gives reasons for calling out attacks, with words giving them power rather than, letting the audience know what attack is happening. adds weight and doesn't fall into cheesy
@@ililililliil The reason why it got changed was to match the lip movement. If you watch the original japanese version of this scene its horribly out of sync as it has too many lip flaps. Unfortunately, in trying to match those flaps more words got added. Notice that in the parts where you can't see his mouth the words stated are as they should be.
It's easier to take seriously without the engrish. Engrish often makes me laugh. Especially with characters who are supposed to be fluent in English. Still, one thing many subs have over dubs is that the pronunciation of foreign names, terms, etc, sound more like how it would be pronounced in Japanese than the way many Japanese names are pronounced in a lot of dubs.
I know the og route is older and may have its odd moments- But man scenes like this made me love it. I mean in this version Archer took out multiple lives BY HIMSELF before dying. If they ever remade the original route would love a full on fight scene potentially.

Herc also loses to Gilgamesh pretty handily. The ones that struggle are Cu because of Godhand, Medea because of Godhand resisting magic, and both assassins just suck lol

How cheap could they be to have the same VA play two completely different characters in the same show? I mean, come on. Shirou and Archer? Completely different characters. One uses magic to conjure swords and make them stronger, and the other uses magic to turn his conjured swords into projectiles.

When I first saw this and heard him say unlimited works I was so confused there was a second fate/stay night and it had unlimited blade works in it so I knew archer was gonna be very relevant in the next one and man he’s so cool

This scene is the main reason i got into Fate, Flesh and Bone, just added more to what the overall chant was about. his body is what was used to create the swords and in Heaven's Feel we get to see what that really means.
