late december 2023 this is still working, although it doesnt work if you make any cuts on the tree its also almost impossible to do on trees with lots of branches like the new blue fir tree

my wood is modded but when it comes out the sawmill it is not as big as your one
Sizes will vary. The piece shown in the video is as large as I've seen it get and not every attempt will be as long as others. Keep trying and you'll get some long ones. :)

I spent 1 hour trying to get a tree in there and it did work but I only sold it for like 2k so it was not worth it for the money but it’s still cool💀
Yeah, I've found the same thing. The size of the wood is the purpose of the glitch, not making it super expensive. Sad to see it doesn't work both ways :)
You can do this with lava wood aswell I’m presuming most woods ?

I use the frost wood and it gives me like 3k
i think the game thinks that piece of wood is the entire tree cause its not cut, but sold, i think selling does not update the game state of the tree size or pieces size, but cutting the wood does

I've tried on a regular tree, with the max size, it makes a block or a little bit bigger block.
Are you referring to an oak or elm? An elm will give you better results as it is naturally larger, but, in any case, using this glitch should make any tree into a plank larger than normal. Make sure every step is followed closely. Hope this helps :)

what if you sawmill 2 pcs. tip of the tree so you basically get 2 whole trees when you sawmill them both?

Great to hear! Yeah, the resulting wood plank will differ in size, yet regardless it should still be larger than any legitimate method of refining wood. :)
@@BlazeKillerBK it was! I did it twice but i could only do it with the same wood you used in the video. I tried with the golden wood(first i was gonna try with the volcano wood but was too much work) so i tried the golden and it didn't but it's okay I'll Try more tomorrow. Thank u for the great video!
@@CamyTV_ Hmm.. I'm sorry to hear it didn't work with other woods. In theory it should because it's simply another wood type and should not affect the mechanics of this glitch, but it is possible I am wrong. I think the problem might be that there is such a high probability of error when you attempt to use other woods that are further away from the wood dropoff. I appreciate your support and I' m glad you enjoyed the video otherwise!

can i see gold wood being used for this? ive done it multiple times with other trees but i cannot get it to work with gold wood
Sorry for late response. This works for any wood, though the further the wood is away from the wood dropoff, the more difficult it will be to perform the requirements correctly and successfully. Hope this helps :)

I'm sorry to hear that it's not working for you. Trying different-sized woods could do the trick, but any size of wood should work. Make sure you carefully follow all of the steps shown in the video. It might take a few tries and some getting used to. If still nothing is working, I recommend the following: have you tried switching servers, restarting the game, restarting Roblox, switching Wifi connections, messing with/restarting internet, trying this on another platform (if you have access to one)? If you are still experiencing issues, let me know. Otherwise, I hope this helped :)

Does it appear any longer than if you stuck the trunk in the sawmill without first doing the glitch? If not, keep trying, it takes a few tries sometimes. The final plank should be rather long as in the video. I hope this helps :)
do you know why the wood doesnt move when its on the conveyor when the wood separates? is it patched?
It shouldn't be patched, someone confirmed recently it was working. Maybe the wood is stuck on something?
Would it be okay if we cut it with an axe?
If you are referring to the wood dropoff steps then no. The wood has to be automatically broken up by the wood dropoff machine. The only part you can use your axe for is chopping down the tree's trunk at the very beginning. :)
does it works for selling it and using for blueprints and can i then later mill it for smaller pieces for blueprints
It does sell, just not for as much as you would expect for that large of a piece because it is simply modded, so I wouldn't recommend selling it in the wood dropoff, only selling it to other players. Yes, you can use it by chopping it up into smaller pieces for blueprints. If you want to mill it again, it will have to be small enough to first fit into your sawmill, and then you can mill it into the dimensions of your choosing. Hope this helps! :)

Hmm... what wood are you trying to use? Also, I mentioned in the video some people may experience issues if the last piece of wood is dropped or touches another object. Try holding that small piece and placing it into the back of the sawmill, without touching the sides of the sawmill in the process, and wait for the wood to start milling. Let me know if this works. :)

What if i modded the phantom wood and ill cut the smallest piece and the 2nd small piece or 3rd gonna work too cause the phantom wood woulnt fit on bridge?
I don't think that would work based off of me actually doing that before and based off of how this mod works in the first place sadly, if you kept manipulating the tree maybe it could get up the bridge. That's my best guess though ;)

Great video! However ive had a hard time with doing certain woods like snowglow and blue, how would i put them in cause its a bit difficult. Also what happens if one piece falls off and sells?
I agree some woods are much more difficult than others. At a certain point if it were me, I probably wouldn't even attempt certain woods such as those you mentioned specifically, but rather find someone else who sells them. This will save you time and stress. If one piece falls off and is sold like shown in the video, the total value of the modded piece which you are holding will not change, as the game sees that piece as the entire tree. Hope this helps :)

I'm sorry to hear that. Don't spend any more time on it, I believe you are doing it correctly. There is always a chance that is has been patched but it was working very recently.

Are you referring to the plank that you can't grab? That can be an issue. Have you tried reloading your base? Usually, this fixes the issue and allows you to grab it. If it doesn't fix the issue try the glitch again and let me know. The game's a bit glitchy at times so it might simply be the game. :)
how much can i sell modded blue wood for a piece? and spooky wood?
If selling at the wood dropoff, it depends. It may be around 10ks or maybe more for those woods. If selling to other players, it's whatever you set your price at, usually a few hundred thousand is common. Hope this helps. :)
Pretty sure it doesn't work anymore, because it becomes impossible to pick up any of the logs when one of the pieces sell.
Actually, I just hit the wood with my axe without chopping anything off, and I could move the wood. And it works! Neat

Mine doesn't become super long.
That means something went wrong along the way and the sawmill recognized it as only the trunk and not the whole tree. It was working just yesterday so keep trying, you got this! :)

If I understand your question correctly, yes, anything can sell from either the plank you mod or the tree you mod off of.
whats the use of the modded wood?
Given that the wood doesn't sell for any more than the tree that it came from, the purposes are mostly for selling and building. These planks, depending on the wood, can sell for a good amount between players, and if you're building something, it can be helpful to have that much wood on hand.
I tried doing this with a smaller tree it worked but as I was going to do it with a big tree I tried picking it up and uhh it flung like 200 studs up do you know how to fix this?
Sadly, it's not something that can be fixed as its just part of the game. When you try to pick up/move larger trees, they are more unstable and can be easily flung large distances. It takes a lot of patience to do this with larger trees!

@@theyoyoiscool Blueprints are another glitchy thing in this game unfortunately. On PC they are much less glitchy, so if you are building something large and think it would save you time hopping onto PC if you're not already playing on PC then I would advise that. In any case, try zooming in and out when trying to place blueprints in certain places. I find this helps quite a bit to accurately place blueprints, though it isn't perfect still.
Btw is it work on Ice wood/Phantom wood?
Yes, all wood types.

Make sure you are not cutting any of the tree besides the trunk, are selling the tree as a whole, one group of branches at a time as demonstrated in the video until you are left with one piece. I haven't tested it using all the sawmills, but the ones I have tested on have all worked. Besides I wouldn't see that as being an issue. Also, whatever platform you are playing on shouldn't pose any problems either. My Gamertag is Blazekiller56 on Xbox. I am very rarely on, but if you catch me or I catch you, I will be more than happy to help :)

@@therobloxera9510 Oh weird! Well it shouldn't be restricted to Elm. I have used other woods and it has worked with those so keep trying! It's difficult to use woods that are not in the main biome, though it should still be possible. :)

To get the largest plank of wood possible, yes. Though this should still work with other sized sawmills as well as different settings on any sawmill.

@BlazeKillerBK I have been trying for awhile now myself. With as big as you can constantly pick up without dropping. ( so still kinda small) but can't get more than a 2x2x2 cube out of the mill. I have been following the steps. Only chop at the very base, take it to the sell point, trunk first, sell it all down to the last little chunk and then run that into the mill. I have the sawmaxO2L so idk if that's the culprit or if I'm just being dumb. Also on xbox, tried it on my pc as well with no success

Just to make sure it wasn't patched, I checked today, and the glitch does still work, but I do not think you are being dumb. It sounds like you are following all of the steps correctly, and the Sawmax 02L is the one I use as well. I'm not sure what other advice I can give, unfortunately. Restarting Lumber Tycoon, restarting Roblox, restarting the console/pc, trying a different internet (if possible)? Given that you seem to be doing everything right, I'm not entirely sure why the glitch isn't working on your end. Keep trying, possibly with different types and sizes of trees, and hopefully it eventually works. I hope this helps :)
@BlazeKillerBK So, after doing ALOT of testing. I finally figured it out. It's that I have to leave wood sitting by the sell point. It's kinda weird. You want to sell your stump, and then as little as possible till you get a single piece. Then, take that one chunk to your mill, and magically, the mess at the sell point will disappear. It's more taking and turning the whole thing into one piece, instead of a bunch of smaller ones.

With my script it give me the option to spawn in the blue glowing wood but it doesn’t actually spawn anyone know why

Great question. It would be nearly impossible considering you would need to bring the tree up onto the bridge, and the bridge is so glitchy that the tree would most likely glitch through into the void--so I wouldn't risk it. If you would like one, there are a decent amount of people with modded phantom as it's probably the most commonly modded wood type. You could try server hopping; eventually, you will probably find someone with it. :)
Oh alright, thank you! Also, for some reason, whenever do this, I cant pick up the plank once its touched the ground, I dont know why. Could you help me with this?

I havent gotten a single succsessful attempt cause if it, and this would really help me alot with filling blueprints since i build quite a bit.

How did you make modded sawmill
The sawmill isn't modded, the game only thinks its separate pieces of wood until you cut it, thereby making the sawmill think it's a larger piece than it is. I have made a modded sawmill video in the past on my channel which you can feel free to try. Not sure if it still works :)
