This went well on my "unsupported" Sony laptop PC. I've run a lot of updates without issues. Many thanks for a straightforward way of doing this. I've subscribed and look forward to your future posts.

This is very interesting. My language is English (United Kingdom) but this is not a language option in the drop down menu - there is only English (USA) or English (International). Will English (International) work for me?
@martinhack6486 hi martin download both versions and if the USA doesn't work try the international version it will work.. Thanks if it works i wont mind if you subscribe... appreciate your time friend
Thank you for a quick reply - it is appreciated. I Googled this, and used the Media Creation Tool to download the ISO. It chooses the correct ISO for your system - there is an English (United Kingdom) version ISO.
If this is a 2014 Intel based laptop then it's probably a 4th generation Haswell processor. The only true HARD requirement for Win11 24H2 is a processor that supports the SSE4.2 instruction set, and Haswell DOES SUPPORT SSE4.2. So u should be good. The other supposed "hardware requirements" like 7th Gen Intel/2nd Gen AMD Ryzen OR newer processor, or 4GB RAM minimum, and TPM 2.0 are simply arbitrary rules MS put in place and CAN be bypassed with tricks - tricks like OP's "setupprep.exe /product server" bypass. But this SSE4.2 requirement is an ACUTAL hardware requirement. it can't be bypassed b/c the Win11 kernel is physically compiled with these hardware instruction sets. The OS would literally crash if executed on a processor that didn't include SSE4.2 hardware inside cpu silicon. This is why ppl using these install tricks encounter hard-stop error messages when attempted to run 24H2 setup on REALLY REALLY old Intel cpu's like "Core 2 Duo" & "Core 2 Quad" era cpu generation
