I have to agree with the Wall-e vibes, it has the same sort of sweet silent vibes I got from Wall-e, with a silent lone robot making exploring and discovering nature
The fact is that I twitched and almost jumped out of my seat inside the bus when I saw this. This is the first book to ever make me cry and seeing it getting a movie adaptation just brings me so much joy
Dude, I’m not kidding, no matter how many times I watch it I literally cannot watch this trailer without crying, once the music kicks in it immediately reduces me to tears, this honest to god looks like the most beautiful animated movie I’ve seen in years, the story about a robot who doesn’t know what he is or where he came from discovering nature, the world around him and what it means to be alive sounds like such a poetic story, like I cannot believe how truly ambitious this movie looks, it doesn’t just look like another animated movie, it looks like it really wants to say something and pull at the heartstrings, and the fact that it’s being made by Dreamworks gives me a lot of confidence, and I enjoyed How To Train Your Dragon 3 and Kung Fu Panda 4 but I’m about ready for another heavy hitter from them, and it looks like this could be it, ultimately this is the greatest trailer I’ve seen since the one for X-Men: Days Of Future Past, it blew me away and I cannot wait to see this
Disney managed to make real animals look like uncanny valley monstrosities so I'm DREADING to see how they handle Stitch. Some things should just stay animated and not try to look "real" which is why I'm happy to see this movie is in the works, it looks like a breath of fresh air.

I didn’t know about the book when I saw the trailer and it was beautiful watching it for the first time. I bought and finished the book and rewatching the trailer left me speechless

Saw this twice in the cinema. The music played a huge part in making it so emotional, I feel. Dreamworks nailed it with this movie!
I'm guessing that "Rozzum" comes from "Rossum's Universal Robots" (R.U.R.), a 1920's play by Karel Capek that gave us the word "robot".
This is actually based on a book, and the robots name is rozzum, but is called Roz!! :3
