This song was originally titled "The Carol of the Drum", written by Katherine Davis, a college music teacher and composer, in 1941.The song wasn't popular until about 1959. Mrs.Davis passed on in 1980. I learned this from another RUclips video. " The Story Behind 'Little Drummer Boy'". I think I like the original title better.
