Man I’ve been looking at a lot of reviews on this one and you’re the one that sold it by making it sound so damn good. I’ll be trying to hunt this down tomorrow!
This is definitely one of my favorites. I keep it on my bar shelf and it is my regular go to for Tequila sips, between visits to enjoy some of my other more rare or expensive suff. If you can find it, try Tears of Llorona, if you like a good smooth Tequila to enjoy after a meal(Or desert tequila). It is wonderful and has the sweet fruity notes to it as well. May God continue to bless German Gonzales with long life and continued ability to oversee production of that gem. Its Different as its an extra anejo and 43% ABV, but very nice. Tops on my shelf of Tequilas.
It's very smooth and no bad taste. I don't think it tastes like cake batter. It does have a noticable vanilla. It has a mild sweetness to it as it does not over power you. It's so smooth it almost feels like liquid jelly in your mouth! Becareful, as it still burns going down! For me, it starts to burn after my throat. I must have a ulcer or something? Who knows. Edit: I'm sorry, in order to skip the burn and doing a very bad thing to this Tequila... I'm mixing it with COKE!

Do you recommend it chilled or room temperature?
I am a room temp guy, however my wife does enjoy this on the rocks. I think it is a personal preference thing!
