  • Bridget Jackson Harp Studio 4/22/23 Recital: Student/Teacher Ensemble - "Dog Days Are Over" by Florence + the Machine, arranged by Bridget Jackson for 5 harpists and 1 harp!
This was the funnest thing ever!!! I love this song and figured it'd be the perfect arrangement for a harp quintet with a twist: all played on one harp!!! My students are awesome for being down for my hare-brained schemes lol, and putting in the hard work learning their parts for this. They are so rad for just being down for anything :)
(Sorry about the random applause in the middle - our audience thought the piece was over :) Luckily it didn't interfere with the song too much, so you can still hear what's going on!)
You can get my arrangement of this here: www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/...
(This is also playable as a regular harp quintet, each harpist would just play each individual part on their respective harp - both pedal and lever harp friendly!)

Wow. Totally a like. Strangely enough I was heavy into alternative and punk when this song first came out and somehow I missed it. Guardians of the Galaxy 3 brought it back for me to get hooked on. :)
