I just wanted to take a second and thank you Mike for everything you've taught me. And you have this crazy way of cutting out all the BS and getting your point across in a 15 minute or less video. Thank you for not being like other channels were all they like is the sound of their own voice. I appreciate what you do.
The original #7 Shad Rap Color is also a good one. I would not have believed it but the line was cutting the mud and I wore them out time and time again.
Awesome!! I subscribe to 4 fishing channels and you are the first one to talk about cold & muddy. This is great info that I can put into practice immediately as my local lake has 12 inches or less all year from creek to dam. Thanks Mike. Keep these “in the shop” video’s coming. They have really improved my game.
Mike thanks for another great video and the advice you have given. I am working on those types off lures right now for the next time I go out on the water. Thanks again.
It does not matter what sponsor a pro has,i bet my life he has a demon color dt 6 in his boat during the spring. Like always champ your on point. listen up boys the man has spoken!!!
Mr.Mike I’m going to try this in Venice La, , next time I go , we live close to the mouth of the Mississippi , I know you caught em down there on black Mann’s worm
Just realized I was not subscribed. Followed you for seems like ages. Can’t believe I wasn’t subscribed. I have heard of You Tube in-subscribing folks from other channels. That seems like the best possibility. Very slim I accidentally in-subscribed or never subscribed. Just glad I seen it. Wishing all my friends FAT FINS!😎✌🏻
Although some colors might fade and disappear in certain depths black is a color that is good in all water clarities. In dirty stained water black will Cast a shadow and create presence
Another great video you keep it simple you explain why I learn so much from your videos and all the pro's now if I can catch a bass 😏 glad your back on the elites we met here at Lk St Clair a few times Merry Christmas 👍
I'd love to see how you would fish our lake here. I work at Huntsville State Park, and our 200 acre Lake Raven is currently 3 ft low, 52 degree water that looks like chocolate milk due to creek runoff, lots of sand.
Ike do you think that red nd orange pop in winter time, because through talking points from bait company's pushing these 2 colors everybody is throwing this 2 colors??????? Always wondered that. I understand muddy water bass can pick the color up father . But there's just bright colors out there. Love 2 other colors, don't get me wrong I love my DT-6 in demon color, just something I've always thought
Yo mike it is the kiss of death cause I got skunked from 3 days in a row nothing works: water temp 50 less than 2in could see the fish on the scope. Threw cranks, red or shad , the a chatter bait hoping the sound would them in….nothing. Threw black and blue , Ned rig, and jigs . And I am ashamed to say I even tried a damikki rig. Water clarity was crap orange muddy water. I was on lower Sardis in Mississippi not sure if have ever been there.
Simple, bass see only 3 colors according to a recent university study. Red, Blue, Green. It was also determined they can’t tell the difference between blue and black or white and chartreuse. Let that marinate in your brain before you let a tackle pimp tell you what colors you should fish.
Thank you on the Mississippi where I fish a lot , is often muddy and cool. And I use a lot of blue and black .
This family was pulling for you too , my dad and I been huge fans of yours and were happy to see you win the classic here
Another great video Mike. 👍👊
Ike your doing an outstanding service for fisherman with these videos packed with key information. Thank you
Thanks Slim!! Appreciate that!!

This will be my mantra for fishing this year 2023. Keep it coming
Man that Rapala DT6 Demon had busted soooo many 5+ pounders for me during cold muddy conditions. Amazing bait!
Demon 💪 Heck yeah!!

Appreciate the dirty muddy tips Ike! I'm ready to hit the local river in search of a biggun!
Good stuff Mike let’s go fishing!
Mr.Mike I’m going to try this in Venice La, , next time I go , we live close to the mouth of the Mississippi , I know you caught em down there on black Mann’s worm
I believe you , thank you sincerely for this one Mr.Mike
My home lake has terrible sight.
Orange usually works but i use alot of red as well.
The zander likes white/green, very stange.
Thanks Mike 👍

Would you prefer these colors and lures for the bank fisherman?
Always good information 👍🏻🎣
Thanks Mike!
Hey Mike great video... do your thought about uv glowing soft plasticks...
Thanks for the tips. I do have one question for you. Does black or black and blue disappear after you go past a certain depth?
Although some colors might fade and disappear in certain depths black is a color that is good in all water clarities. In dirty stained water black will
Cast a shadow and create presence

Great stuff beautiful boy I'm loving this stuff 👏
Zman white and silver chatter bait with a light blue and white paddle tail glitter trailer. Did you catch all that?
Excellent!!
Mike, how do you think a large "black skirt, black blade" spinnerbait would do? 1/2 to 3/4 oz.
Do you add a trailer to the spinner baits?
Is it the same as fishing for rainbow trout?

I understand why black works b/c of how it contrasts in dirty water, but why does red/orange work?
My son and I are fishing his second bass tournament for his high school this weekend and it's gonna be extremely muddy and cold

Can't believe you didn't say bright white

Too much work , I just use hand grenades and a net …
Mike , quit giving all the juice. Between you and livescope I’ll never catch another bass.
