Hey what's up Dr. Webb! Hope all is great with you! Thank you for another great and informative video! I just underwent 3 MRI's this past month of Lumbar/thoracic, Cervical and Brain so I think it's real cool that you post a video on these procedures😊 I really appreciate all that you do for us and be well, be safe and Peace & Blessings🙏🏽
Very well done Doc, excellent explanation for the lay person. Have done one for the difference between an MRI and CT. That's the question I get all the time. --As sn MRI tech/past CT tech. I approve this message with extreme promotion.
Dr.Webb, how can me and another minority shadow you? I’m currently wanting to be a PA, but I love medicine and I’m a Physical Therapist Assistant in Florida, but would fly down man, your motivation means the world to me!
Thank you for your amazing content, Dr. Webb! Your videos are informative and encouraging for pre-meds like myself. I am completing my undergrad in San Antonio. Would it be possible to shadow you? I know this is a long shot but I wanted to ask! Keep up the great work! ~James.
Hi Doc, Im a 51 year old living in Europe and been suffering from cervical stenosis C4/C5/C6 since 2019 doctors here says surgery will take a way my mobility for more then 50% would it be possible to take a look at my mri and give me your opinion ?
Very good contents! I really appreciate your channel... I also am an orthopaedic surgeon, even though my main branches are knee & shoulder, as it's possible to see on my new channel... best regards!
Physicist here. MRI causes the hydrogen in your body emit "lights" (which are used to create the image). Because hydrogen concentrates in the soft tissues, MRI are use to image the soft part of your body, and also the fluid. X-Ray on the other hand, shine short wave electromagnetic radiation through your body. That kind of radiation is blocked more easily by bone than soft tissue, thus bone can create "darker shadow" on the film. Thus x-ray is used to image your bone.
