Well explained. My doctor asked me to get CT, Ultrasound and MRI done and I kept wondering what's the difference
Ct scan uses hundreds of xrays, not worth the risks, mri does a great job and does not involve a huge dose of damaging radiation. These ct scans should not be used casually when much safer imaging alternatives could be used first
