@Kamieeniee it's a quick way to build character. nothing causes sudden and intense building of character like having to deal with immense grief, loneliness, anxiety, and depression. on one end, it often causes the hero to have to choose to rise above his feelings or deal with them (the less taken approach, as it would require the hero to stop heroing for a good portion of time and actually seek help and the means to deal with their mental health, though it is seen on display in tobey maguire's spider man in the second movie). on the other hand, it could cause the hero to have a breakdown and cause serious damage to their character, making them violent and indifferent to the world around them, ultimately turning into them into a villain.
basically, loss of loved ones is a cheat code in story development.

Like what makes Garfield different is that he created the spider-man persona because he wanted revenge against the thief, and began hunting people that looked like him. it wasnt until he saved a child did he realized he should use his powers for good.

You forgot the curretn situation based on the trailers.
Back in Universe 1, Peter Paker, now publicity known as Spiderman, gains to much attention and is branded as a criminal following Quinton Beck's death which he is falsely accused of. Wanting to change everything, Peter looks to Doctor Strange to see if there was any magic that could undo the world from knowing Spiderman's true identity. Strange somewhat agrees to help, only for him and Peter to overestimate the binding of the universe. This causes Eddie and Venom in Universe 4 to get caught in the middle of the situation allowing them to enter Universe 1. While in the alternative Universal 1, Peter and Strange learn of the multiverse and that different universes collided with them and they must find a way back, but there is No Way Home.

I wonder if MCU Peter never got The Speech from Uncle Ben. It would probably explain why he took his situation for granted in Homecoming. His uncle dies six months prior and the only thing Peter was worried about was May not letting him “do this anymore.” Then after he and Ned hack the suit, he cuts a boat in half and almost gets a bunch of people killed. After that, he learns absolutely nothing from that, given by his line when talking to Tony.
    “I’m nothing without the suit.”
He knows he has great power, but he didn’t learn the great responsibility part, even though it usually takes Ben getting killed for the other Peters to learn the great responsibility part of the lesson.
I mean, hell. (I’m not sure who narrated this video) even talked about how Peter wanted to escape his responsibilities, something no other Peter Parker is able to do themselves.

Few notes tho, good choice of music but the volume is a bit too high and can be distracting at times. And timestamps would help a bit if someone already knows everything about a particular film,
