TWICE is the Best Selling KPOP girl group of all time and The Most Awarded JPOP and KPOP girl group.
Music released in Japan is mainly in Japanese. But not JPOP. All music production takes place in Korea. It’s all K-pop. And XG is also a girl group created by a Korean producer. They imitate KPOP but deny the fact that the music is based on KPOP.
@@fanudochi573 nope. There's a different sound, style, concept between their korean releases and japanese releases. If you really listen to TWICE's Japanese discography there's really the essence of Jpop (classic&modern Jpop style of pop)

@minasharonwhat @fanudochi573 I’m not sure how/why XG was brought into this lol but let’s clear things up a bit: XG is Xpop, X.P.O.P, not Kpop nor Jpop (even tho I myself don’t care and hate this debate lol it’s really not that hard to call em what they’d like to be called which is their own genre, Xpop).
They don’t “imitate” Kpop lmao, their music sounds nothing alike, the styling is completely different, they are a lot more free to do things kpop idols would get hate for and/or looked down upon for, and etc; the only thing in common is the fact that they do photo cards/fancalls and things of that nature.

Ok well since yall open to any music. Let me introduce you to her group TWICE est. 2015 (9 beautiful women) who does any genre. One of the biggest girl groups out there. Twice isn’t for everybody maybe because they started off cute but have matured over the years but their music makes you feel good and they’re an undeniable group. Maybe start with MOONLIGHT SUNRISE (English Single) and take it from there. The leader Jihyo also has a solo called Killing Me Good and they also have a Japanese subunit with their j line members (Mina, Momo, Sana) called Do Not Touch.
