Let me correct you - Most of the ground today is concrete and most of the population walk and run on the streets or treadmills (Depends on location). Most of the US population run on streets while most of asian population run on treadmills. Running on concrete foot paths and treadmill are not good for knees as each "thud" passes the impact from the bottom of the leg to knees. Barefoot shoes does not have the cushion to reduce the impact while a well cushioned shoe will reduce the impact. Hope it helps

Our feet were not meant to be protected anyways. It was meant to be used barefoot. We could climb trees etc with it. We lost all those functions with time. Also, lost out on freely getting acupressure to cure various stuff with covering them. A lot a complex functions lost.

In fact, it leads to lesser joint pain and better knee functioning that a lot of people suffer with in old age. You should talk about how a wider spread out feet leads to better control and balance of our body.

We wear shoes from childhood. If shoes restrict the growth of foot in any way, don't you think our foot wouldn't have grown. If your foot muscles were grown weak then you wouldn't be able to walk till this day. This is just another marketing gimmick.
This shoe will be helpful for little kids not for young adults. Whatever loss of strength these foot muscles got over the years that is unlikely to return back. So do buy these shoe keeping all aspect in mind.
I generally do workout bare foot and I am a kho kho player so I have to run bare foot (without shoes) on the ground so somehow these shoes are useless for me
