Also want to point out my solid gold bracelet i used to wear when i worked with chemicals in a warehouse tarnished and turned black in some areas all i had to do was wash it and polish with a cloth and it looked new so people know its not just silver that tarnishes

If you put your chain in a bowl with aluminum foil shiny side up and add baking soda and boiling hot water it will clean the tarnish off and your chain will be shiny and new again.
