  • The Nilfisk E145.4 pressure washer is a superb piece of kit for cleaning around the exterior of the home. The powerful 2100W induction motor provides 145Bar of pressure, which is powerful enough to blast away even the most stubborn dirt. By changing the nozzle you can also reduce the pressure and us this to clean vehicles or caravans etc. I bought this last year from a seller on ebay, I’m unsure where the cheapest place to get on is, so please check around. You can find more information on the Nilfisk website- : love.nilfisk.co.uk

    These are great pressure washers, bought the 110Bar version 6 years ago. Took a gamble when I saw the price of the yellow ones, so glad I did. Only gets used around once a year and I can never workout which nozzel is which. The patio cleaner works great, may buy the bigger version to replace the current one.

      I'm sure it will last for years. Just ensure it is not left in a position where it can freeze, as that normally finishes them off, as the water that is left in the washer can expand and cause irreparable damage.

    I think the first nozzle you used is the Tornado nozzle as it goes round and round fella. What I dont like about those ones with the Hose roll, is the hose roll. Do you know if you could use it without it being on the roll. I have a 110.3-5 and the hose on it didn't last very long at all and I ended up buying a quality hose that I have had a for a few years now. The cost of hose replacement for the 125/135/140/145 etc is putting me off buying a newer model.

    • @ultimatehandyman
      @ultimatehandyman  5 лет назад +1

      To be honest when I first filmed the video I thought the same thing, but during editing I changed it. I spent the best part of an hour searching the net to see which nozzle was which and the general consensus was that the tornado nozzle was adjustable one and the power speed nozzle rotated, of course this could be incorrect.
      Yes, you don't need to use the hose reel, I'm sure any Nilfisk hose will fit this machine.

    This is not a strongest washer in the market, but its perform realy realy well. I dont know its came from the underrated specs, or Nilfisk use some special desinged nozle, but 150-160bar rated karcher modells not able to represent the same preformance i think.

      This is my second Nilfisk now, I use the other one on smaller jobs. I'm happy with the performance of both of them (can't remember the other model number). I have used more powerful pressure washers, mainly petrol driven ones, but this is superb for use around the house.

      I'm also intrested in a petrol one instead of electrical one beacuse of the powercord. But bigger nilfisk models are came with 15m lenght hose, and its not bulky as a petrol one and i can get wider range of useful accesories for the electrical ones.

    • @kasparov9
      @kasparov9 4 года назад +1

      The Professional Karcher range would be even more powerful than this, the home range the K5-K7 should match this performance. Remember to take into account the Operating Pressure, not the max pressure of the machine.

  • @kasparov9
    @kasparov9 4 года назад

    That's not 145 bar of pressure, the operating pressure will be lower than that probably around 110-120 bar, the back of the machine will state the operating pressure, if you hook up a pressure gauge to the machine it may hit 145 bar when you turn it on for a second then it will go down to it's operating pressure when you start using it.

      The pressure is actually pretty important, and not so much the water displacement. Which will clean better? A bucket of water thrown on the green rocks (lots of water displacement), or the same amount of water being pushed out true a little hole at high pressure? And the higher the pressure, the more force there is behind that waterjet, the more dirt it will remove. Here's another example: go to your local carwash and try holding one of those high pressure hoses with one hand (and turn it on of course). One advice: make sure you have your full-face helmet on. :)
      Cheers.
